Because he's such a great guitarist Craig can't appreciate how mortals hear Johnny's playing I think? And he's rightly still pissed off with him too.

Everything I ever read was that The Smiths were more powerful live with once Craig joined.

morrisey/marr did not have the balls to sack gannon from the group. he found out he was out through a friend, which is very strange. they had no management keeping the group together etc. no wonder things were so fucked up in the group. not very proffesional the way gannon was fired from the group.
