Amazing to think that this is in 1983 when Morrissey and Marr had only met the year before. 4 years on from this the band no longer existed, incredible to think how much they achieved in such a short space of time. Has there ever been another band become so successful and iconic in such a short space of time?

I’m 20 and even I have yet to find one. I love the 1975 and see them similarly, but The Smiths were really something else. I could only hope to find a band of this caliber in my generation

Imyouthcollective 1975 have already been around 7/8 years haven’t they, these guys were done and dusted with 4 studio albums and 3 compilation records in a little under 5 years, I’d love to say otherwise but I doubt we’ll ever see anything like them again, one of a kind

I love the controlled looseness of this band. Morrissey is so fluid and I love the juxtaposition between the complex and elaborate instrumental against his uncontrolled and light voice.

@Wffz-mo4qh Beggars belief that you can tell the difference between FLAC and Vinyl. Vinyl has a warmer, scratchy sound but that's really it.

I watched this whole concert on an airplane in 2004 ✈️ haha 😆 it was actually showing on the little tvs on the back of the seats on a red eye flight. The airplane had so much turbulence it actually went with the music 🙏💯

First Smiths gig I ever watched, in mid-late 2019 - it changed my life for ever. I have been hooked to The Smiths ever since. Although I've liked other artists, nothing will ever affect* me like their music. Best band to have ever existed! *Or is it effect?
