I really like her transparency and her willingness to explain everything step-by-step. Her make-up artist, Steven, on the other hand did a poor job as far explaining what a beginner should know. For example, he didn't say at all what kind of brush he used to apply the foundation. Did he use his fingers, a sponge, or a stippling brush to apply the foundation? He also didn't explain why he applied concealer AFTER applying foundation. Usually artists will conceal FIRST and then apply foundation.

At least Kim is knowledgeable in this vid. I do see that Kim and Stephen conflict each other sometimes since she'll talk about what she uses & likes and then he'll say something opposite of what she likes or in a way to correct her, but they seem to get along fairly well. I'm glad Kim knows what she's talking about and she's giving more info than the artist is himself! Plus any other model or celeb would just sit there and be dead or giggle and talk about random shit or stare @ themselves. go K

When he sets the foundation, he goes from the container to the face and back to the container. Doesn't this contaminate the makeup? I see him work from his hand, so he is making sure not to contaminate the makeup but then slips with the setting. Can someone please explain this to me?
