Loved hearing this. One of my parent's favorite groups. She reminds me of mom. Maybe it's why I am crying the night before Mother's Day thinking of, and missing mom.

She was a precious lady and loved her singing! I remember they came to our church in Baytown in 1985.

The queen of Gospel in my book... She lived it.. Loved it and I just loved Naomi. Vestal and Connie were more in spotlight I feel but I feel Naomi was overlooked.

Gregory Scarbrough It just shows that even in gospel there’s the mafia, so sad, she was never given what she truly deserves.

She is definitely one of the most overlooked female gospel singers from the 1950s and forward. Of course, her signature song was Sorry I Never Knew You. I’ve heard other people sing it, but no one could touch Naomi on that song…
