The snow is finally gone! Ranger ebike in the Colorado Rockies!

Nice to go out for a ride and not have snow and ice making it hazardous! Dry trails and great views, I'm ready for a great 2024 biking season in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains!

Fantastic video ! The sun and that blue sky is breathtaking ! Must say the Ranger is a kind of friendly type of bike ,as it does what you want and is built with quality in mind :) sure you can buy cheaper e-bikes ,but how long will they really last ? I think its the same as a car or motorbike ,always worth paying a few extra $ which saves you in the future :) Must feel strange without any ice and snow on the trails too ! Love your rear view camera work to , keep up the good work !

It is a fun ride for sure. Yes you are right, snow yesterday and it's covered again, should dry out by the end of the week if we don't get more moisture before then! Cheers

I also had a creaking noise from the saddle struts on my 1994 Flite Titanium saddle. After a period of use of approx. 10,000 km on the TREK Marlin. A few squirts of silicone spray and all is well in the box. The saddle has now completed another 2000 km on my Ranger. And counting... If you have a good quality saddle, it will last for ages.

Absolutely, I'll spray this saddle with some silicone and keep riding with it for awhile. In this video the sound it makes comes across as a "click", pretty annoying when you are trying to film! Cheers

I bought that bike after i saw your vid and it s been a very rewarding experience. I m surprised tho that i already have to change the brake pads after 500 miles!

After 1200 km I replaced my brake pads with the green pads from Tectro, but they were still 2 mm thick and the replacement would not have been necessary. I just did it because of the noise.

Good deal, this Ranger is by far my favorite bike! Hey, if you got 500 miles off a set of brake pads you did well! I only get half that between changes, but I'm using the softer organic pads because I like the positive progressive feel of them. Ride safe!

Hallo Habe den Cyrusher Ranger unddie gabel die du hast eingebaut leider habe ich ein kleines Problem was ich aber schon vorher hatte .Und zwar wenn ich das Fahrad über etwas un Ebenen Gelände schiebe schlägt bei mir der Steuersatz oder die Gadel ist aber nach dem Einbau der neuen gabel etwas mehr geworden woran kann das liegen und wie komme ich an den Steuerstz ran hast du einen tipp. Danke

Hallo Beim fahren merke ich nichts bloß beim schieben uber unebenen Gelände schlägt irgent etwas klopfen und wenn ich im schtand bremse leicht schiebe das die gabel etwas schwimt oder wackelt habe heute noch mal alles festgezogen aber keine Änderung (Drehmomentschlüssel) wo das Herrkommt weiss der Teufel auf der gabel habe ich 90 nm drauf Danke

@@dietmarkintz151 Hello, that sounds to me like the steering bearings are a bit loose. Try loosening up the bolts on the top clamp (bolts that pinch the fork tubes and the bolt that pinches the steerer tube). Then loosen the bolts that pinch your bar stem to the steerer tube. Once everything above is loose and moves easily tighten the allen bolt down that is on top of the steerer stem / bar stem. Don't tighten too tight, you just want all the play out of the bearings in the headset. Now tighten the other bolts back up and see if that did it. Cheers

Hallo. Erst mal grosses Danke für die schnellen Antworten super leider ist das Problem nicht weg .Es ist genau oben an der Gabel und zwischen Rahmen also unten im rahmen was ist da kaputt oder wie griegt mann das hin .Danke schon mal im voraus

@@dietmarkintz151 Hello, if you tried what I describe above it didn't take the extra play out of the bearing then you may have a bearing or bearing race failure. You'll need to take the fork off and see what is going on. Cheers

Not true at all, Some state parks say you can't use a throttle and must limit your speed to 14mph. No one cares on BLM land, you can ride what you want. Now National parks are a different story, Some will not let you ride within the park, some like Rocky Mountain National Park say you mush stay on paved roads (I have a video on this). It really just comes down to how you ride, if you are following the rules and not riding like a lunatic then most Park Rangers will not bother you.
