This is video of my "The SnowPlow" snow pushers, my 36 inch, 48 inch and my 36inch snow grader (angled for windrow pushing is a snow grader shovel on wheels.) Highly recommend these shovels for pushing light snows. The shovels are very light weight and scape down to the surface. They make 18 inch, 24, 30, 36 as seen and a 48 inch as seen and a 36 inch snow grader on wheels angled for windrow pushing as seen. All these shovels are perfect for clearing blacktop, concrete, stamped concrete, walkways, sidewalks, driveways, patios and decks. The 30 inch is their best seller because it's not too big and not too small and can be used for most snowfalls where as the larger 36 inch and 48 inch pushers are better for lighter snows where it's not as heavy to push a 3 or 4 feet path of snow. Feel free to comment with any questions about these highly recommended shovels. I am all for sharing a great product! I purchased these from thesnowplow.com. I'm not affiliated with them. I just love their shovels and how well they work. Fiberglass handle and poly blade makes it super strong and the big widths they offer make clean ups a breeze!
The #1 feature of The SnowPlow Snow Pusher is the UHMW Polyethylene blade. This material is the highest wearing, impact resistant, cold weather adaptable material available. It is high-end and highly respected. Others have tried to develop and compete with inferior materials and will acknowledge this product's superiority.
The sturdy construction is consistent throughout. All of the materials are Made In The USA, not just labeled or repackaged. The fiberglass handle has twice the wall thickness of the industry standard and is reinforced with a core insert and topped off with a D style grip.
You can't just have a blade and a handle so the Tuffbrace handle/brace connector system was developed and patented . The Tuffbrace is the market envy and they proudly mold them at their shop daily.
The SnowPlow Snow Pusher is easily assembled with standard hardware including locknut fasteners to assure longevity. It is rust free.
Company's website where you can purchase these shovels is: www.jmenterpris... or www.thesnowplow.com

Good video Snowlover. For those still not convinced with using a plastic shovel; Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW) is a type of thermoplastic polyethylene. Also known as high-modulus polyethylene, (HMPE). It is resistant to oils, chemicals, acids, and here’s the best part. UHMW has a very low coefficient of friction; is self-lubricating (google “boundary lubrication”); and is highly resistant to abrasion, in some forms being 15 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel. Its coefficient of friction is significantly lower than that of nylon and acetal and is comparable to that of Teflon. If you have a really worn sidewalk and is overly hard on shovels. Any cuts or damage can easily be repaired by running a nice sharp(new) putty knife along the blade to true-up the edge. When it’s time to finally retire the shovel in 30-40 years, it can be easily recycled.

Good ideas just keep coming back. When I was a kid (early '60's), my dad bought a similar device made here in western Canada (called the "Sno-Thro"). The plow blade was 1/8" steel plate, 30 inches wide, concave curved and higher on the left side. This made it really effective when clearing long stretches. The blade was connected to an axle by two adjustable steel arms so that the side-to-side blade angle could be swiveled. The axle carried two lawnmower wheels, and also was the pivot for the handle (similar to a lawn mower handle). There was a light chain that allowed the user to lift the blade without moving from behind the handle. The whole works was finished in a blue-ish hammertone paint - must have been good because it never flaked or rusted. It had 50 years of regular use here in northern Alberta and it was still in good shape. After my parents' passing we sold their house, and I left the Sno-Thro for the new owner. The only maintenance needed was to put a few drops of oil on the wheel bearings in the fall, and every few years even up the bottom edge of the plow blade with a file. I never saw another like it, and I've no idea what it cost in 1960. It was great for clearing a very long driveway after light snow falls. The steel blade had the advantage of being heavy enough to not lift over lumps of packed snow, and it made short work of the 150' driveway. I wish now I'd hung onto it! Nice to know a similar device is being made today. Thanks for posting.

Jim Baritone I had one of those growing up too, loved the metal blade and concaved shape. I've thought about making my own because all the new ones are plastic, or if you can find a metal one its only 24" wide 😦

I have a 36" snow plow like the one shown above. I've had it now for three years and I love it. My snow blower broke down so this is the only thing I use to clear the snow. I would recommend it to everyone. I do think a 48" blade would be too much to use. If the snow gets too heavy, I use an 18" first and follow that with the 36" afterwards.

Fred Zimmer sounds good! The 48” is limited to really 2 inches and less or it becomes too hard and heavy to push but great for fast removing of dustings. The 30 inch and the 24 inch are great for deeper snow and like you said the 36 is kinda big enough.

Crispin’s Crispian the 48 inch is the best for 2 inches and under at moving those quick dustings of snow fast! The 36 inch and the 30 inch are very handy as well for slightly deeper snow with the 36 and the 30 can be used with almost all snow depths.

@djg1028

The 48 is too wide for more than 2 inches of fluffy snow. Otherwise 48 is super super productive and useful for those annoying dustings. 36 and 30 can do most snowfalls especially the 30.

I had the single handle 48" and it was great for the light snow over my large smooth concrete areas. It was great for pushing, even a little more than just fluffy snow. However, for any lifting, it just wasn't going to happen. Then it was a combination of shovels at work, the big one pushing to a point and the others to scoop and toss. I haven't tried that double handle with wheels, though, THAT just looks fun.

Maria Jenkins there are a lot of videos on you tube of this shovel being used including from the company's you tube channel. But there aren't any videos where someone has more then 1 shovel in the video. For example this is the only video that not only has more then one shovel in the video but has many of the models and actually talks about the models and the differences and gives a comparison for someone to see the sizes.

Ганс Сосискин scrapes right to the ground! It’s made from a great material. The 30 inch is good for all snow deaps and the 36 and 48 inch are best for snow 4 inches and under because they are meant to push a big path at once for quick snow clearly of the lighter nuisance snows.

Thanks for sharing. I did't know there was a SnowGrader. That could be very helpful. I just got the 36" Snow Plow and have been very pleased with it. I have a gravel driveway so the blade gets hung up some on the frozen aggregate. I imagine with the Snow Grader you could lift it up a 1/4" to avoid that. I made this for the 36" kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6fCg597fpeZiJY SnowPlow that I just posted. I may have to order the Snow Grader! Thanks and take care!

Time is $!!! These pushers are meant for when you need to clear those annoying dusting’s fast!! As far as any snow over 3 inches than you never really want a shovel more then 30 inches wide unless you’re very strong. I can shovel with my 36 depending on how long the distance is in snow over 3 inches but this company also makes 30 inch and 24 inch a little more suited for deeper snowfalls.

If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer them if you can keep your criticism to yourself and perhaps you can have someone film you shoveling and you can make your own KZbin video with over a 100,000 views and perhaps you won’t get called a fail.
