I like that SOG, good steel, good design, a heavy leather sheath with belt loop would suit me. Thanks for showing it.

Two thumbs up. SOG makes purpose built knives. I think that I have nearly everyone they make. Well, the fixed blades at least.

I owned a pup years ago. I truly loved the blade. I don’t know whatever happened to it. Knowing me, I probably gave it away to someone that really loved it and never replaced it. Great minds think alike I don’t care for kevlar or plastic. Just not for me. I like leather and nylon myself. Awesome videos. Keep them coming.

Nice knife. I agree, I do not like plastic sheaths, and usually buy a leather or nylon sheath to replace. As always, great video and review. No justification needed to buy fixed blades, or to carry just one. Cheers.

Fun choice of a fixed blade EDC knife. Finding a better carry sheath from a bargain knife, or other knife package was interesting.

I don't know anymore Man, I love knives, but nowadays there are just way to many options, I have bought cheap knives that turned out to be better than some name brands, one lockback I bought has the action of an automatic, one of my favorite knives beefy handle extremely smooth opening and quick, and I I didn't pay a lot for it, but yet I keep searching and searching new knives, I applied your channel, keep up the good work.

That is nice! I'm more of a bigger blade guy, but I imagine there are advantages to a mid-size fixed blade that a bigger blade doesn't have, like maneuverability, portability, stealth, etc. Good call.

As always an excellent review. Knives are both tools and talismans. I feel undressed without one on my person. In fact, I was asked to leave yoga class b/c I refused to remove the folder that I had clipped to my sweatpants. I got into quite a heated argument w/ the teacher by asking her where she thought the warrior series came from - which is based on ancient Indian martial arts. If you want to see some wicked fighting knives, check out ancient Indian martial arts.

Thanks for the video. That's a beautiful knife. That knife doesn't have as much appeal to me, but I understand how it would appeal to others. I'm just not a good enough martial artist to expect to survive a knife fight. As a result, my having a knife that is dedicated to being a great tactical knife doesn't mean as much. If I'm in a knife fight and survive, then I probably got lucky. I can get lucky with a bushcraft knife as easily as I can with a serious tactical knife. The smaller tactical knives has more appeal to me because I think I could surprise someone with one and get that lucky break. This one is too big for that. I'm thinking about getting a small tactical knife that could give me the element of surprise. If I'm going to get something bigger, I'd rather have something that is more oriented towards bushcraft. Of course, that's a joke too because my health is too far gone for me to survive a bushcraft situation.

If you want a decent leather sheath option and don’t mind doing a bit of crafting, find a Hooby Lobby near you. They have a knife sheath kit in their leather craft section that will fit up to 7 inch knives. I’ve made a few of them and they are pretty nice.

I bought a $30 SOG Provider fx clone from Aliexpress and I loved it for pocket carry edc but the steel is unusable because it dulls super fast. So I looked up the full price in Australia and it costs $300 and therein lies the problem.

It took me a while to be able to get blades like this, but with the channel growing, I’m able to afford things to put on display. A good alternative would be the seal pup. You can get one of those for about 55 or $60. I think you’ll love it.

The sheath makes or breaks the deal for me. Doesn't matter how awesome the blade is. If the shesth is garbage, and I can't find a made to fit replacement that works for how I want to carry it, I won't even bother. That is the issue I have with kabar's TDI series. They sheaths are just garbage. And a made to fit replacement is another 40 bucks.

To date I have helped catch over 400 ppl in 2 years. They are finding them in groups of 10 to 45. I have FBI and my CIA handlers clocked into my bioapp as well as the 4th regiment Marines and military. 🤘🏽 Berlusconi said in 2018 when this started- " Don not play with that girl. She's 1 in 1 million. She doesn't play." 🫡 I'm doing my duty until it's found. I'm currently helping the FBI track a country wide serial killer that's shaping up to potentially be my stalker. A female. There are military and police logged into my bioapp globally.... And looking for the bioapp.
