Hoooray! It's here! Love the new scoring system.

The scoring system requires some refining and a better graphic i think but it's a good start. Thanks for watching. Finally got it out 😂😂. I think I'm only REALLY behind with the F50 and the Alpha now. I'm sure I'll remember some others 😂😂

Such a solid boot

For sure, very few drawbacks, does what it's supposed to.

Man if you had this soleplate on the gx, 😮💨 could you imagine!?

I certainly wouldn't complain

Seems like quite a solid boot. Was just wondering, however, when you say go up .5 size, do you mean based on a Nike or Adidas boot? Just wanted clarification on this.

Between the 2, up half from Nike.

Does Sokito have a North American presence? Or can they only be ordered from European sources?

What’s the top 5 boots you have worn ?

That's a big question. Some of my favourites this year are the Asics DS Lite X Fly 5, The Messi F50 & The New Balance Tekela V4+ Pro

I have the k-leather Devistas. Overall I quite like the boots, for now they've pipped my Asics X-Flys on game day. But I've discovered at least a couple of drawbacks resulting from the eco materials, which I think people should know. The Devista Vegan shares these materials with the leather Devista. - The cotton vamp liner reinforcement inside the toebox can take ages to dry if it gets wet. Even from just a sweaty sock on a hot summer day. Alas, this makes sense, because it's cotton; wet cotton that isn't exposed to circulating air takes forever to dry. So, your Devistas can get very smelly, very quickly. The other boot brands typically use some sort of nylon vamp reinforcement, and that stuff dries much faster than cotton. - The soleplate is somehow made from castor beans. Which is just wild to me. Cool, though. That said, it comes with a drawback. You may notice that the soleplate is quite stiff out of the box. So stiff and snappy at the forefoot that its comparable to a modern speed boot. But this isn't the drawback (I like outsoles with strong snapback). The drawback is that it seems Sokito made it extra stiff at room temps on purpose because once this castor bean soleplate warms up during play, it becomes much more flexible. Maybe a shade too flexible. It certainly loses more than a bit of its energy return. Again, I presume this is a consequence of the eco-material.

I can somewhat corroborate that they take a while to dry, although I've not had the issue really from sweat, but if I play in the wet they do take a good while to dry out. No smell issues for me though. The outsole I actually haven't experienced that at all, not outside of a normal amount anyway, all outsoles will soften slightly under heat or over time but I've not had anything to the extent you have, maybe a weather thing, I've not used them in particularly hot temperatures which might be why I've avoided it. They're not even the first people to use Castor Beans for the outsole either! Nike did it with the original GS, unfortunately they didn't follow up on it, so it hasn't developed from their end. Sokito seem to have done nice work with the concept though

@@BootWizard It could definitely be a climate difference. You're in the UK, yes? I'm in the southeast US. Summers are a sweltering soup here, and AG pitch surfaces become as much as 30 degrees (F) hotter than natural grass pitches. So, my socked feet sweat a huge amount in summer, and the soleplate is subjected to much hotter temperatures.

@@CognizantCheddar I'm in Ireland but basically the same climate, so yeah, could very much be climate for both of us!
