Your process of installing the roof metal was ingenious. The name you gave your ramp was very fitting as well. Big Bertha was a 43 ton mobile howitzer that could fire a 16.5 inch, 2,200 lb shell over nine miles. It was built by the German armaments manufacturer, Krupp, on the eve of World War 1 and used by the German forces in the attack on Belgium in 1941. So, your Big Bertha, named by Von, won the battle on your roofing ordeal. Great job on your construction!

You guys have a beautiful house(home) and a fantastic piece of property. A minor suggestion ---- put your tub/shower enclosures on a inside wall and they will be a lot warmer when you get in them especially when its 40 or 50 below outside..its also easier to keep the plumbing from freezing also..🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

Hi Guys, You are doing a fantastic job building your house in Tok. I built two houses in Fbx where it was soo much easier getting materials! Have you given any thought to leaving the walls at 10" for air circulation especially with a wood stove in winter? Just a thought. Keep your videos, so much fun to watch! Robert

We want to have the privacy of closed in rooms otherwise it would be nice to circulate the heat for sure. We’ll be putting in a propane furnace that will have ducts going to each room and will be used to supplement the wood stove.

wings lose or any other parts of bird that you want. Dad had ten kids not counting me because it was cold mush left over from breakfast me me. No it was not what I picked out, it was just about the only meal he decided I was worth. Dad figured if it was good for our mule we would log trees with, then it was good for me... dad kinda kept mush warm on back of the stove in the warmer on the stove. Dad loved his mules so in a way he might of liked me... I guess. I do know one thing... from tossing scrap iron in the train box cars and logging, I got real big! As in a barrel chest, super strong legs, plus from going bare foot or wearing mud boots... I wore a size large boot and when I bought my first pair of shoes.... yes I had to buy my own. I and the shoe salesman were kinda surprised when he said, I will have you some shoes in about a week. I was almost fourteen and my shoes were size fourteen. I know that my mud boots were the largest in the store and I had to curl my toes to get my feet in them. When I got my sorry butt drafted in 66, it was size seventeen shoes for me, and they almost didn't let me stay in the service cause of the shoe problem.

Well my property hunt was a bust, I spent 4 hrs and 21$ in gas looking for 3 places within a 3 mile radius of Tok and could not find any of them. No signs, satellite pics were wrong, house pics were wrong, very poor listings. I kind of feel like Tok is stuck in the 70's, more of the way Alaska used to be and I like that. So I will keep looking. You are under crunch time to get stuff done.

Are the solar batteries and system going to be in the house ? As you're using a wet acid lead batteries they off gas while charging . Not a problem providing proper venting of said room available.
