This has been my same experience in solo. It is vastly harder than playing in a stack , which is unacceptable . I would suggest this channel's creator and everyone look up the tweets from the treyarch dev talking about how ranked works or YT videos that discuss the tweets. We once again have an unfair system with hidden mechanics that doesn't actually let you grind in peace but attempts to rig your matches. In short the same hidden system in SBMM determines who you play within your SR ranks, and how much SR you get for winning. This is why you see bronzes fighting Plats and sometimes diamond. SR doesn't determine who you get matched to , the HPR does, SR is simply for cosmetic rewards. The problem with HPR is it is incredibly biased AGAINST solo players and it uses knowledge of your play from anywhere across Call of Duty. We also know from older videos tests, and information that the SBMM system is drastically toned down when you are in a squad, or solo no fill Warzone Vs solo queuing with fill squad on because the game is doing weird math to make the opponents easier when you have no fill and to make the opponents harder when you choose fill. And in ranked play as solo you can't "no fill" so guess what is happening in the background... therefore, if you play well on dome or shoot the ship 24/7, or even in warzone and you decide to go into ranked after, or you turn your PC off and comeback the next day Ranked play is using that data and you are going to pull a difficult team right off the bat, and you may not get a lot of SR for beating them . the game is still a joke because the Devs refuse to remove this terrible and flawed SBMM system.

a quick little update from this video: i actually hit Crimson 1 this week after playing with a full 4 man of some of the best kbm players on MW2. Playing with a squad (like you said) is insanely easy compared to solo queueing. I hope they somehow add a solo queue playlist into ranked but im unsure as to how many people would actually play it - maybe the reason that doesn't exist right now is because it wouldn't be populated?

Honestly this ranked is so much better than the older ones we’ve had, I’ve almost solo queued my way to iridescent, except after crimson 2 I played with a team, you gain so much SR and you lose barely any

I've played some ranked back in Vanguard and I wasn't having a good time, that "holding angles as a defender/shoulder peeking every single possible enemy location as an attacker" is just not even gaming for me I completely understand if you go back to public gameplays, people can take more risk there and use their aim and reaction time to overcome sticky situations, rather than just relying on positioning and "outsmarting" the enemy players like in ranked lobbies

i shred in pubs. I legit drop 60-100 kills on shipment or top frag in search a decent amount of times. First 3 ranked matches were awful. First match i top fragged and then the next 2 matches i struggled to get 5 kills. I legit ruined my teams experience. Im either the potato or my whole team is useless.

Ranked has one big problem it is only for the tryhards. if you are new to ranked you can meet diamond as bronze, this is just stupid. you also get way to manny points and dont lose any almost for loss

It’s because of a hidden skill rating announced on Twitter by a developer for ranked. The lower SR you get is because the game thinks that’s where you should be playing. That’s why when you get to iridescent you only get like 25sr per win for all players as it’s max rank. If you’re a good player the game wants you to progress faster and that’s why players tend to get more SR in the lower divisions. If you notice a drop in SR even if you top frag, that’s because the game thinks that’s where you should be. To get more SR you have to consistently perform, then your SR will eventually go up. Hope this makes sense

it's all about your rank, so if you're a really low level then you'll get more SR. If you're like level 30 or something you'll end up getting lower SR
