I take the throttle body out completely and give it a good wipe down with some carb cleaner. I never felt a difference in my pickup trucks but in a Corolla it did help it idle smoother

Brother Che is correct, too much low speed and urban areas will wear an engine much faster, whereas Australia is a big country. Just getting to our jobs can take atleast 20-30 minutes each way

@@ontemnaojantei there is a chance that your cloth could fall into the engine or even a teeny tiny fragement of something wrong goes into the engine and anything can screw the engine up big time. I dont recommend doing this but it is possible.

Have you done any calculations to see how much fuel consumption there is? The percentage can’t be that high and that depends on how many times the driver is stomping the gas off a light and or if they’re doing high speeds on the highway . There’s many factors involved and it’s not always spark plugs, O2 sensor etc. sometimes it’s the bad habits of the driver. Got numbers ?

I have a Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter engine 4 Cyl . I have this kinda problem. Flashing engine lights on and Misfire Codes. After changing my Spark Plugs and New wires and New Coil wires .It still Misfires. Then I change my Fuel Injectors Change Oil and put some Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner Still Misfires . This is the Codes that is Showing up P0300 Random /Multiple Cylinder Misfire P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Now iam thinking changing my Fuel Pressure Regulator .So is this going to solve my problem on my vehicle .I heard some people will say that the timing chain is the problem .and some will tell me that it is Intake Valve Not Setting Properly .

looks like your on the right path, fuel, air, and spark are the main things to look for. Try getting a spark plug tester or just pull the spark plug out and disconnect your fuel pump relay and have someone bump the starter and make sure all four spark plugs fire, also check the gap on them to make sure they are all even. Could be a fuel filter issue, try and hook up a fuel pressure gauge or get a scan tool and see what your fuel trims are it’ll tell you if your injectors are funky and your car is dumping fuel to try and fight that. There’s a lot it could be just start simple and then move to complex
