I didn't realize the versatility! Thank you. Im playing with the micro set using coffee straws and it's fun (It doesn't come with the flanges, but it's a great way to prebuild without using software). Lumber can build everything.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect !!!!! I need these for my trailer mounted wash plant design ! These are far superior to the EFT conduit compression connectors. I'm ordering some now ! Yeehaw !! Thank you so much for sharing this video !! I'm stoked !!! 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍

I discovered you guys awhile back but was too busy to dive into the site. SO happy I rediscovered you guys via your KZbin channel since you all have a killer KZbin channel (Pro Video IS our business!) and as a big DIYer and KZbin learner I love that you guys get straight to the point, expand upon that point, and wrap it all up with best practices. Just perfect execution. The fact that Maker Pipe not only is heavily involved with their community but grows and adapts with it is extraordinary and the way I think things should be. Camera companies will create cameras with engineers who aren't camera users themselves so there are SO often times improvements that are just bungled because they have no idea how impractically they are implemented. The fact that you guys can allow your customers to keep it simple or get really intricate with their mounting and securing solution is so refreshing. As someone who wants to overengineer a solution so it's right and tight I love that I can come back later and secure it even better without having to hack the materials myself...I have no flowery language left. You all are killing it! Planning a 3D enclosure build that I want to possibly mount to the wall and am absolutely diving into EMT rigging for it now that I know just how easy, sturdy, and affordable it'll be with your solutions.

Do the square flange base holes happen to line up with plate caster mounting holes? Or can you get them without the base holes drilled?

This really is spectacular! Just one reason being. If for example we are making shelving with 3/4" wood, and short-ish spans. With these in use, we can do without the added work and expense of running two pieces of conduit to support the shelf, and then laying the shelf/wood on top of that conduit. If we feel the wood/shelf can support the load/span by itself. About how much longer, until more 1" fittings are added?
@MakerPipe3 жыл бұрын
Glad you like them Steve! Very very soon on the other 1” connectors. Within the next few weeks for a couple of them!

It would be super handy to know the dimensions of the flange base. I have 2” angle iron to attach to and I’d like to know if it can be secured to that without over hanging.
@lovetennisevents Жыл бұрын
With the adjustable angle flange is it possible to have it so the pipe can move on the hinge, for example to make retractable table legs?
@MakerPipe Жыл бұрын
You could do that. You'd just have to leave enough of a gap when securing the flange base pieces to your table. Otherwise they will squeeze too tight and keep it from hinging.

Do you sell the end clamp part by itself? I can see uses for this alone, and also, if you want to use your last tip and add three pipes to the same flange, you need two extra end clamps to do it. To get just the end clamp, do you need to buy one of the adjustable angle fittings and throw out the receiver part?
@MakerPipe3 жыл бұрын
Hi Marc thanks for the question. You can purchase the end clamp individually, it’s a variant on the Adjustable Angle Connector page. makerpipe.com/collections/modular-pipe-fittings/products/adjustable-angle-connector-hinge-connector

I’m thinking about a way to make this an 8-way junction. Maybe fit a 180 degree connector between two of these flanges for the other two “legs”?
@danasdas66833 жыл бұрын
I was trying two five ways out of plane with each other to make an 8 point star for decoration, but this may be an 8 point junction in-plane. Nice

Oh wow, that is a really smart idea! We will have to give this a try!

I keep hearing corrosion resistant Have yall tested the longevity of resistance in normal outdoor weather use? Possibly just leaving them in the elements to see how long until you see change?
@MakerPipe2 жыл бұрын
The connectors have an e-coating which used in the automotive industry. We’ve seen connectors that have been out in the weather for years and the only sign of wear is a bit of fading. No rust. Thanks for the comment

What is the size of the base of both round and rectangular?
