So for the new fans who don't know allow me to put some light.. So Venom boosts all parameters of an individual. This means all their bodily systems are turned to their peak performance. Venom can allow an individual to go beyond their peak at the cost of consuming their cells in replace of its own. However this cause symbiotes to be affected by the personality of the host. I should note a Codex is the main genetic memory of symbiote. It's how they keep track of all their capabilites. No Codex no identity. Until the symbiote achieve a powerful stimuli triggering them to evolve. In this process they create offspring. The offspring isn't more powerful just adapted. When Venom met Kletus he felt this is what Eddie could become. As Kletus gave into his madness long ago. If Eddie continued to rely on his hatred then he would be Kletus. Part of Venom wanted to see this. Carnage is symbiote that merges with blood. It consumes blood to produce more mass. This process was described as painful dialysis. Yet Kletus Cassidy likes pain and once he learned. The more blood makes his symbiote stronger. This became the perfect symbiosis. The reason Carnage makes weapons cause it nerfs him. Which allows Carnage to kill more to boost his strength. It was this that lead to Carnage often getting defeated. As if they use to many weapons or tricks and run out of blood they helpless. Toxin was created out of Carnage need desire to save Cassidy. Carnage understands that they got a perfect symbiosis. However staying at the same level of power forever just to kill endlessly. That works for Kletus Carnage wanted to become more. Yet the part that wanted to save his host was discarded. Toxin is symbiote that priority was blood. Yet due to the host not wanting to kill for more blood. Toxin had to adapt to this and improve. Toxin remodeled itself to make the best use of blood. Toxin modify the cardiovascular and muscular build of its host. Essentially Toxin turns its hosts heart into an engine, their muscles boosted to their max. All whilst improving the quality of the host blood. This allows the host to fight for days on end without fatigue. With Toxin you could run like Usain Bolt for like 3 days before starting to get tired. It was this that made Toxin appear stronger than Carnage. Cause Toxin could absorb Carnage blood to heal himself. Cause again Toxin feeds on blood and muscles.

Ngl Toxin was very underused in the KIB saga, he is basically Reek Rap for venom now

Toxin is underused in general. Pat Mulligan was killed way too soon and Eddie being Toxin was interesting, but most people see Eddie as Venom. And finally, in KIB he only appeared in 1 issue of a limited series in a 10-page story. So, I definitely agree

So, which version of Toxin do you like the most? My favorite is definitely Pat Mulligan and I hate how they killed him so early.

Eddie Brock with Toxin was my favorite but I like what they're doing with them both in the current comics.

@@BSM-vw6cf yeah, Bren as Toxin now is really cool. I don't really like what they're doing with Eddie though, cause I liked him more as Venom than the King in Black

@spider-than_comics well The Eventuality said that even if Eddie loses his power he will eventually return to becoming the King In Black. So maybe Eddie will give up his mantle to be Venom again but one day a time will come where he'll have to take his throne back.

@@BSM-vw6cf I don't mind Eddie being the King in Black, I just don't like how he always deals with that kind of stuff and we don't see him as classic Venom so often. I miss the Lethal Protector era...

@@spider-than_comics I think it's all gonna come down to a final showdown with King In Black Eddie and God Butcher Carnage. I think it would be more fitting than have King In Black Eddie and Meridius being the final fight.
