"Don't touch my daughter on the way out, Bob!" Thanks for that trip to the Dark Ages. I could almost imagine what it would've been like facing the total lack of logic and humanity at an inquisition. Bob's default setting: 'I'm right because you're possessed by demons' was scary and yet pitiful. I had to keep pausing every 10 minutes with frustration and boredom. Any pertinent questions Bob found challenging (nearly all of them) were answered with deflections and insults. Despite this, Ammon kept his composure and came across erudite, interesting and well-humoured ... 👍👍

Fantastic I love it. Gawd. I got to learn tonight some amazing translations from the original Biblica textl. See I speak english and Jesus did not. So Dr Hillman did the hard dirty work for the rest of us. What did Jesus speak? What did he write down if anything? Sand? Well tonight Dr. Hillman talked about Baptism. The different eunuchs and it made me think about the roles they would serve in these cult rituals. So Church would pick who would married and who would become empty down there so you would be divine without marriage. Gross! So glad the message is getting out. Dr is really opening a can on something people try to gloss over. They want to wear a cross around their neck but not talk about the BIBLE? Well not anymore BOB! And dont try to say jebus was naked so we need to be to remove demons.

As a Greek born in Greece and raised in a Greek speaking family while also attending Greek Parochial School (full time) and that then went on to study even Ancient Greek daily up until Senor Year of High School at the Bronx High School of Science, I've truly had the nature of the Greek Language branded into my psyche or "D.N.A." pretty deeply. The word " λῃστής" has been in past times, and to this very Day, had AT LEAST the possibility of a broader meaning of ROBBER which would include Outlaws like Marauders, Pirates and no doubt kidnappers and violators of Children as well. The youngster in the Garden whose outer garment was left behind during Christ's arrest ran off when he was being SEIZED by the arresting posse and so his garment was practically TORN OFF him as he ran away. This has happened to me once during an attempted assault by a gang of teens when I wiggled out of my coat and let them tear my coat off and let it drop to run away as they grabbed me. The problem I see with Ammon's Biblical interpretations is that he really needs to SERIOUSLY put his "Translation" into CONTEXT with what is witnessed to in the Bible as a WHOLE and I hope he tries this before he makes even bigger mistakes, Church history and Theological prejudices aside. I'm very doubtful that his superimposition of a Hellenistic worldview for his Biblical interpretations are 'Full Proof' too, plus, 5th Century Alexandrian Codex manuscripts are Highly Suspect as you may agree if you look into their veracity.

@ The point is that the "kid" (who may have been sleeping unclothed under a linen blanket) was being SEIZED by the arresting posse and THAT is why his linen garment came off and if you research further you will find that Ammon's interpretation of "kid" is not full proof ether as the Greek word "νεᾱνῐ́σκος" he "translates" in that verse means "youngish Man" and NOT a small child as Ammon insists. Look it up yourself and sorry if I burst your worshipful bubble dude.
