In the comedia del arte play (where the harbingers are based from) the Character of Arlecchino was also known as "The Knave" which literally translates to "servant" Arlecchino was a servant of pantalone. Arlecchino was a dishonest, sly and a trickster. Otherwise a untrusting person. That was what the person ment the Arlecchino from genshin impact having the title of the knave the knave translates to slave that's it.

In order to maintain quality, they never make 2 anime series in 1 broadcast phase. the contract is finished/the story is finished then they release the new series. For now, they just have to finish the demon slayer story, which is estimated to have 1 season & 1 movie remaining. After the series ends, the Genshin anime can be released. Might even be Arlecchino's own blood being used for the children in her batch. At this point I'm almost certain she's a lost Khaenri'an as there is no evidence of any other nation or people being affected by "hilichurlification", and the funny pupils are a dead giveaway (all of them have unique pupils so far).

That is why " she prefers to be called father, she doesn't want to become like the previous knave." In conclusion she is strict and unfeeling but actually love and cares for her children secretly. I cried the first time I watched it, and it just convinced me even more that I NEED to pull for her. This whole animation is so intense. When she showed up to fight the previous Knave I just yelled at my screen ,,KILL HER!" because I got so angry at this woman. And this reminded me so much of "The Promised Neverland". Watched both seasons, and I'm not gonna give any spoilers, but it really has similar vibes. And generally, I think the Harbingers have some of the most relatable and harsh backstories so far. I'd theorize that in the end, the Fatui are at least not generally evil. I'd say whether they are the good guys or the bad guys depends on perspective, but that's a topic for another time. Anyway, I'm glad that Arlecchino got to where she is today, because that "Mother" was a piece of garbage. Also, I've read many comments under the original video, saying that the "Mother" appears to be loving and caring, but is a freaking psycho in reality, while Arlecchino seems cold-hearted and strict, but only because she deep down cares about her children and wishes them to grow up into strong and independent individuals. Fascinating contrast.

Originally when Fontaine trailer came out I did one of those "who are you going to pull for" charts on the Hoyo app. The only character I marked "yes" was Arlecchino. I knew I wanted to get her. These trailers are not changing my choice, but they're just REALLY good quality HYPE.
