I can see why they wouldn't wanna take music from Sonic games but they can atleast take the ones with no lyrics that fits the scene. Maybe a rock music for action scene and orchestral for emotional scene. 06 soundtracks sounds nothing like sonic (dont mean that in a bad way. What I mean is that its lyrics doesn't sound something you would hear in a game but in a movie). They should try using 06 or Unleashed theme for Eggman because they sound mencing and fit his character perfectly.[

I just adore how both versions of E.G.G.M.A.N. are edited such that it seems like it's a song that Eggman just makes Stone put in the background whenever he shows up. Especially when you couple it with the original Eggman dance scene in the first movie. Like, he needs to pump himself up, so he just puts his theme on. Or, y'know, gets Stone to run into the scene with a boombox that plays this song. If SEGA only let Paramount use one song, it really should have been this one (either version, I like the original SA2 one more, but the Shadow remix suits this scene too) also I can't believe I didn't already have this video liked. My Top Favorites 1. Sonic Adventure 2: The number one perfect kind of theme to kick some blue ass! 2. Shadow The Hedgehog: The right kind of music for an return. 3. Sonic Unleashed: This theme is so awesome and gives a more dynamic feel for Robotnik’s transformation to Eggman. Seriously I think the movies should have this kind of orchestral music much like Unleashed. Unleash’s score definitely has a similar feel as John Williams’ music, mixed with Back to The Future, and with a bit of Matrix to it. 4. Sonic Adventure: This theme rocks the mood. 5. Sonic CD (JP): The perfect kind of theme to gear up and getting your groove on. 6. Sonic SATAM: Sinks in nicely for the mood but a little slower paced. 7. Sonic CD (USA): Sounds sinister, scary and feels like judgment day is coming.

From what I love about Junkie XL's score in this scene is that he upgrades Robotnik's Theme from the first film. As he dials up to eleven for Dr Robotnik's Theme throughout his transformation look. And I think the music choices from Sonic Adventure 1 to Sonic Rush Adventure fully embraces the theme of Robotnik's re-hatching into the iconic Eggman we all know and love.
