When you really think about it do we really need one we already have the Xbox port and I think ps4 port but we really don't need one unless the pc port hasn't came yet

@@jboyathegamer Ps4 version is the ps3 version streamed where performance is not upgraded what so ever, so no native port and the Xbox version is the backwards compatible xbox 360 version with just 60 frames per seconds on Xbox Series X and S with fps boost and nothing more

@@jboyathegamer Well no because the best way to play Sonic Unleashed "OFFICIALLY" is on the Xbox Series X where it's just 60fps and nothing new, and there should have been a pc version of Sonic Unleashed when SEGA launched the game

I really like this showcase, shows what a few simple changes can do for this game. All i want is some tougher modes/enemies, some nice QoL changes, and the medal system from the wii version that grants you medals based on performance rather than searching for them. However, if i got to pick one new thing to add to a potential remaster, I would add a simple style system to the Werehog. It would do the basics of logging your actions and ranking every horde encounter (like Bayonetta does), but it would also increase the Werehog's run speed, attack speed, and damage output with every rank you go up from E to S. This would encourage players to keep the style meter active as long as possible to take advantage of the Werehog's momentum and improved movement, making it feel more akin to adventure era Sonic. With the faster run speed and aerial moves, you could more easily find skips and shortcuts to the next enemy encounter in order to keep from having to start the style meter over again.

Slightly unrelated, but I'm sitting here watching this, thinking about how this was the next mainline game after 06, and I'm just amazed that somehow Sega has never made levels this good since. How did they hit their peak with Unleashed and, not once since, did they ever even come close to the stage design they achieved 15 years ago?

If only this were to happen, honestly Heroes has a better shot than Unleashed (Before people ask the Adventure games are probably gonna be remade the same way the Crash & Spyro games were done)

I would say yes to all these elements except longer level at night. Because they are already long enough and labyrinthine and not, I do not want it even longer. Then I think that if SEGA ever does a remake/Remastered it will be the same as that of Sonic colours

dragon road night is literally the shortest night stage. You can beat it in 2:30 without any glitches or skips. I think that was a fair length

i wish i could play it,since ps3 version im total into it.....the day stages are amazing thing,the speed when max level.but the night stages where actually also some fun.the only thing i really found interesting is - the final stage...i mean look at all other levels and then this final one,funny tho ya have to play it multiple times for hotdog challenges.for ps4 would be awesome and the dlc from back then....but i would also take sonic unleashed 2 :D its still is great game....
