This was the hardest rocking song in the entire country when it came out. This song is why I am a hard rock fan. This song is about a gal from Banbridge Island.

Seriously?? I grew up in the 60's in Seattle and saw these guys perform more than once! I think it was Sherman Hills roller rink in Bellevue. Went there every weekend when I was in high school. Saw Van Morrison and Them there before they hit it big. Gawd, they’re still kicking ass. I love it!

Perfect analogy! I was in jr high when The Witch by the Sonics came out- we went nuts over those wild screams! I played the 45 rpm over and over. Still have it. I know Cannibal Corpse, too. Lol, A Metal Shop favorite. Both bands drove parents crazy. Love it!

@@playitstrange129 nah he definitely didn't hate them lol he was just trolling. He even claimed that their drum sound is the best he ever heard, so he definitely respected them. Whomever is a fan of Kurt's catalogue of interests know very much he was into the cheap, underground, garage, punk rock stuff, so of course he loved the Sonics.
