The Sopranos is not just a story about crime and the Mafia. It's a story about the complexities of family and the bonds that keep us together or hurts that tear is apart. I love Anthony's story in the mix here. He doesn't do much the first two seasons because he's just a kid. But I think his relationship with his parents, especially the knowledge of who his father really is was always very interesting to me

Christopher can't kill Mikey because Mikey's a made guy so no one can kill him without an ok form up top, Christopher isn't a made guy so if he even touches Mikey he's a dead man, Tony is actually saving Chris's life.

great reaction. i always took it that it was just a meeting between Tony and the orher boy's father by chance at the gatden center. I don't think Tony was told about Anthony jr's fight at school. just my opinion though.

The five families of New York are the big powerful ones. They set a lot of the rules, like who is allowed to be made. New Jersey mob is pretty insignificant by comparison. Although the fictional Jersey family in the show is a bit more powerful than the one in real life, to make it more interesting for the viewers. Does New York back uncle Junior? Tony claimed that they do, but this was doubted by one of the other capos. You'll have to keep watching.

9:25 here’s the thing, though I guess the writers didn’t really think of it in real life If Tony laid a hand on Mikey, Tony would be gone, but this is a TV show so fuck it.😂 but since also a lot of times, they break the rules and get away with it in the mafia. This could be just seen as a power struggle and Tony and Junior are going at it and maybe Tony making junior boss smoothed everything out with him I don’t know

You're totally right about the notion it would be scary for a child to learn that of their father. Not only is the father figure they've known care and importantly authority from suddenly found to have not been honest with you, which you would have been raised with the lesson that honesty is important by your parents but he's also a dangerous liar.
