@RatchetandSly3 жыл бұрын
@IRISH LAD Ah, playing dumb I see. You know what I'm talking about. You don't have to wear a white hood and hunt someone down to be racist. Things like refusing to hire black people or telling a mildly dark-skinned person to go back to their home country simply because you don't like looking at them. Claiming that entering an interracial relationship is unnatural or that anyone from the middle-east is a threat. This is racism. The idea that anything that doesn't involve the Klan is simply '2020 racism' is embarrassingly stupid.
@RatchetandSly3 жыл бұрын
@IRISH LAD When did I ever say it wasn't their right? A person has the right to be petty, stupid, pathetic, hateful and bigoted. That is obviously true. It's not illegal to be racist, nor should it be. It's just a sign of low moral character, psychological issues, and/or extreme ignorance.
@RatchetandSly3 жыл бұрын
@IRISH LAD Did you not read the comment I just left? I never said racism should be outlawed. Just like you have the right to be a racist, I have the right to think it's pathetic.
@RatchetandSly3 жыл бұрын
@IRISH LAD I never labeled you a racist. I'm saying you have the right to be one. I was making a point, because it seemed like you were getting weirdly defensive over this. I have no idea who you are as a person nor did I claim otherwise. When I criticize racism, you 'counter' what I said by saying "racists have the right to be racist". So, I am using my right to call racists pathetic. Obviously it's my opinion. However, racism is a takeaway from our tribal ancestors and it has no place in modern society. I don't really think that's debatable. I'm assuming you agree that it has no place in modern society? I mean, even if you don't think it's bad, surely you don't think it's good or serves a practical purpose. At any rate, you have no basis to call me a narcissist. Even if my comments did come off that way (I don't think they do), for all you know, I could just be fucking with you. At any rate, typically people who aren't racist do not argue feverishly in favor of racism. I'm not saying you're a racist... I'm just telling you how you're being fuckin' perceived!

I always loved how they casted the bad guy from Rush Hour to have a small but memorable role in this legendary series.

Nearly all of 'beating' seen in the sopranos were sucker punches where the victim was either distracted or pounced upon unexpectedly. Very rarely fair fights. In this case though, it was not only a warranted beating but actually fair. The old guy was literally egging Junior on, and even invading his space. Very satisfying, especially as he knew who Uncle June was and yet somehow still pushed his buttons.

A good portion of it is mocking the absurdity of mobsters, their culture and the lives they lead.
