My thoughts exactly. He is the embodiment of kindness and generosity. Also the self respect he has is unimaginable. What he faced (along with other Palestinians) is a level of grief that only those who’ve been there can understand, yet he doesn’t complain about his grief. He remembered to give credit to the Ulama, who unfortunately have largely been inadequate in their efforts to support Palestine. Not just the Ulama, the Muslims living in the U.S., he gave credit to them. He saw goodness in everyone. Didn’t complain, didn’t point fingers. Most amazingly totally ignored the Israelis. I am in total awe of uncle Khalid’s words. Imaan has reached this man to a level that does remind us of the Prophet(pbuh). Utterly speechless.
