@@dallasisraelites4241 the context of the word "chosen" is misunderstood.. Jews have gone through persecution longer than any other group. But through suffering the Jews have become the most resilient and influential Ethno-Religious group ever. That doesn't make them special, they are just chosen for a job. Who's to say God doesn't have a different perception? Maybe God perceives all of mankind as chosen, but tells the Jews they are chosen because of the millenias of persecution. And perhaps they are repaid by God.

@@dallasisraelites4241 We are obviously alive, cause we are chosen to be. That's pretty amazing. So, the idea, we hear eternity, sounds kookoo. If our thoughts heard eternity, would they come back? When man speaks of a God choosing a group, we seem to be speaking of something different.

In the 12th and last chapter of Daniel in the Jewish Tanack angels tell Daniel that there will be those who will be resurrected to everlasting life and there will be those who will be raised to everlasting contempt.

But the Rabbi is focusing on the righteous because he knows it is not his place to judge or decide who the unrighteous are. We humans do not know who may or may not repent in due time. Only G-d knows that. Only G-d knows who will go to eternal damnation. This Rabbi knows the book of Daniel you can be sure. To explain the Resurrection any other way would make people fear they may not be doing enough to be considered righteous. Life is much more complex than that, faith and trust and learning who G-d is comes first. Recognizing when we need to repent and receive G-d's loving mercy and forgiveness and loving G-d back is what we need to focus on, for ourself. Hoping and praying for others is important, but we leave the out come to G-d. Yes, we see evil being done in the world and we are promised the evil will be dealt with and tho we hate the evil actions that hurt so many people, we fear for the people doing them and pray for them. Only G-d has the authority to condemn a soul He created.

I want to share about my near-death-experience together with my deceased daughter. It's a NDE story about the way our lives are judged and measured and analyzed by ETERNITY. It's about the strength of forgiveness that can change everything for the better, even on the other side. It's a story of hope and blessings to everyone who is looking for a PROOF OF ETERNITY, and that's the title of my book PROOF OF ETERNITY by Alba Monn. It's a story of hope and blessings to everyone who is mourning about the loss of a loved one, especially for parents who have lost their own children. I came to testify that ETERNITY is a fact, that our loved ones live on on the other side, that they want for us to be comforted and completely consoled by the truth, because the truth will set you free. Blessings to everyone who reads this!

Now I know we are told that all Hebrews are represented in Judah but that’s not the only places Hebrews are found. The entire Western nations are the Hebrews all built on the foundation of the Bible. I’m a non-Jew who enjoys Rabbi Friedman’s lectures and I’ve been studying Judaism purely out of self interest. A big question I have is understanding the difference between reincarnation vs resurrection. It seems most Jews (including Friedman) believe in both. If our souls reincarnate and have many lives, which body resurrects at “end of days” (aharit hayamim)?? The body from the last life? First? Best? How does the resurrection occur? A cataclysmic flash and appears? Or a rebirth like normal? What age is our body? Young? Old? What’s the big difference between being reincarnated vs resurrected? The resurrection details still seem rather vague. Again, I’m just curious and would like to know what most Jews generally think!

Fascinating perspective about the earthy smelling soul going through Hell untill the smell burns off around 17:00. Coming from a Catholic background that's very much like the Church's teaching about purgatory. The souls in purgatory are destined for Heaven, not Hell, but still have attachments to sin. They need to go through a purification which is described as a consuming fire. It's fascinating because purgatory is not a teaching of other Christian denominations. The reason given by the apologists is that the foundation for the teaching is in writings, 2nd Maccabees in particular, that are not included in the Protestant cannon but which Catholics and Jews share in their Bibles.

First, going back to the place near heaven and get rewarded with happy and good life. Second, going to the place where he stays there with sad & regret feeling because of what he had done in his life until judgement day; and Third, going to a place where he neither happy or sad feeling, sleep there until judgement day.

Emotion comes as a result of how we think , so basically it is a brain fart. But we feel it and it seams to be real, even if it is not. We also have feelings, that express our human needs and those are real and worth to pay attention and have awareness about. The Fifth Seal: The Martyrs 8Then I looked and saw a pale horse. Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed close behind. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, by famine, by plague, and by the beasts of the earth. 9And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. 10And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?”…Revelation 6:9

The Call of Jeremiah 4The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you a prophet to the nations.” 6“Ah, Lord GOD,” I said, “I surely do not know how to speak, for I am only a child!”… God knows us before we are conceived, and a man or women killers Gods Child in the womb we are the steward of that child to give it excellent instruction for God and bring the child into this world for God and to exercise his or her free will.

On the resurrections we are going to have a new body because the old one was corrupted and destroyed because of the sin. But our spirit is the one we will have with new thoughts and we won't remember the past but we will be a new creature.

Can you provide some biblical citations that back your claims about the soul getting ready to come to earth and spending up to twelve months to adapt after physical death?

I can't help but wonder how much of our Holy Bible has been messed with. How many times has it been written and re written? We will not be judged on what we didn't know, but on what we did know and refused to follow or do.

I feel like these are just yarns the rabbi is teaching there is no proof to what he claims he knows about the soul he really does t k ow where the soul goes to ,These are just made up yarns they have past down over the years how does he know it takes 12 yrs for the soul to complete its journey? These all sound very good to the ears however these are just basically entertaining yarns ...
