The album was recorded and released in 86, not sure when this appearance was exactly, but it would be late 86/early 87 at the latest.

Ok I’ve had several people ask me if I wrote this song, yes I did. I was attending a weekly Bible study in Broken Arrow Oklahoma and while in deep prayer at 5:30 in the morning, this anointed idea came and just came together like a puzzle. It’s called a miracle.

Haven’t heard this song in a long time. Great song great message Rick doesn’t get enough credit for having a very smooth voice. The group name is a bit conceded to me but not a big deal

@@ronniebishop2496I (Sean) & Jess were original members of The Sound and I’m on the original album! My father Don Riley owned the group!

@@seanriley5291 Yes your dad came to Momma Goodwins house with Saundra her cousin to visit. By a miracle the Lord had told me to move in next door about 6 weeks earlier. I had no idea what was going to happen. But Momma was always praying for people including me. I was over there and Don was setting on the couch when I asked her to pray for these songs I was writing because one l really didn’t understand and my wife didn’t either. Don, who I didn’t know, said he owned a group that was looking for songs, and he would listen, and out in his car he did. That last song on the demo was a song about the wedding of Jesus. And he immediately said he wanted it. The next time I heard anything about it, y’all was singing on tv in the Jim Baker program. I turned on the radio and Paul Heil was interviewing a lady in her radio show for West Virginia and she said here’s our number one song. And played it. I knew something was going on then.

@@seanriley5291 Yes I saw your album and an LP size radio single all white, it’s on my office wall in Nashville because it’s so unusual, y’all had a lot of great ideas and we thought y’all were the best combination of singers in gospel music. But Pat got sick and died and it was awful.

@@seanriley5291 That song wasn’t easy to sing the way it’s supposed too, but you people were God sent of course. Oh yes you was a charter member and Jess,? No doubt about that.,
