In June 2021, I set off to cycle, paddle board, and hike the length of Scotland. This video documents the paddle boarding section - a route that was just shy of 200km from Inverkip to Fort William
Unfortunately I lost quite a bit of video footage from the paddling section, due to corrupt SD cards. But I've cobbled together the footage that I managed to recover. I hope you enjoy it!
To watch the other videos in this Scottish Adventure Triathlon series, check out the playlist called 'Scottish Adventure Triathlon'
Thank you Skillshare for sponsoring this video!

Just finished watching all the 'Scottish bike, paddle, walk' series. The paddle board videos were something else - stunning scenery , comedy moments, struggles to overcome self-doubt, wildlife and your sheer determination made for addictive viewing. Keep doing what you're doing, you're an inspiration!

I'd glanced at a map of your route and had an image in my head of what the route would be like. But I was so wrong! That's something I enjoy about your adventures: seeing an area for what it is and your experiences of it. I'm glad this wasn't found footage from the depths of 'Scotland's Maelstrom'. I've seen some images of those whirlpools and they are quite terrifying! Again, I had no idea these existed in the UK. It's been a pleasure to have followed your complete triathlon. Massive congratulations! Here's to your next adventure.

My new game when watching this is “how many islands have I pissed/slept on, that feature in Sarah’s adventure” the answer, a canny few😂😂. The weather does proper change rapid round there. I remember once paddling down the side of luing (I think) it was all calm, got round the bottom, it blew up something bad, and having to land early, 3 of us huddling under a cliff face drinking whiskey (we had planned to camp, just not there)😂

It's a little known fact that a lot of the coastline and seascapes of Scotland were actually inspired by the natural, rugged beauty of Barry docks.

I explored the Oban area and came across the Atlantic Bridge and ended up looking down to Jura I was mesmerised by the beauty and harsh seas . How you managed to padle board that is amazing. I saw whirlpools and the water rush tides were scary. I need to go back to camp. Awesome content oh get a mini dji they are amazing. Thanks your a star .

Last year your CWT videos inspired me to complete the CWT despite I only started hiking 9 months before and only the WHW undet my belt. I did stay in the Schoolhouse Bothy 😁 However there is no way I would try this, probably spend more time looking up at the paddle board. Fantastic achievement which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Birds pooping on you? If you're unfortunate enough to get pooped on by a bird, it's actually a sign of good luck.

GOD I’m so proud of you doing this for me, for us! You make Scotland look so beautiful, but even more beautiful with you in it. Your the best spirit guide a person could pray for. That channel, Simon the bloke canoed thru. So I do recognize that area. But in my eyes you have her heart with you. She makes me smile to see so much of her and hear your beautiful voice (an antics lol) narrating Scottish glory. Thank you for allowing me to see it through yours eyes and heart. Just wish I could hug you and say thank. This old heart is astonished at what you have achieved and your smile warms my eyes to see you do it. Awaiting another when possible. SEMPER FI

Brilliant, brilliant , brilliant! What a feat. I've watched your CWT twice now as I plan to do it next year and had been waiting patiently to see the paddle board section. I can't imagine even attempting that. That water can be very rough. I'm a Scot but live in the Seattle area now but am constantly drawn back to Scotland like yourself. When the weather is great there is no other place as good. Fell in love with your humour from the very first video and the seagull squawking had me chuckling. What a year 2021 was for you..one more Brilliant! Lol

Morning Mad Sarah 😁 what a treat of a video to wake up to this morning. Looks epic. Funny to see I’m not the only one to bark at seagulls (queue 10 minute break from Mad Sarah’s video to research Corryvreckan whirlpools), then as soon as I saw those sunglasses hanging precariously I thought you were taking a chance then boop in they fell 😂 Looking forward to your next adventure. You are both crazy and brave but that was epic, I have gone into the Corryvreckan in a powerful boat so I 100% understand the fear. Well done on picking up all that rubbish it's so sad seeing it lying around. Loved the scene with the otters, that must have been a proper magical moment. I have found you paddle boarding experiences really inspiring and I have managed to get hold of a SUP board (I won't be on it till next year now though), you look really steady on yours hopefully I will get good at it too. Congratulations on the amazing adventure and making it look easy.
