On the Akro dyno chart for this exhaust, it shows slightly more torque over 5,000 rpm but also slightly less torque at around 3 to 4,000 rpm. Is this noticeable when riding the bike?

Nice.. I really like how the Akrapovic systems on this engine keeps the same kind of tone but makes it a little louder and better. Personally I prefer the low exit exhaust of the Tracer (FJ-09 for me) over the high mount, but it doesn't look bad... besides it only matters if you like it. I cant remember, did you put an aftermarket exhaust on the Tracer??? I'm thinking about doing this mod to mine fj-09.org/thread/556/inside-fj-muffler

I love the looks of this high-mount :) Yes, I also have the official Akrapovic system on the Tracer. Same tone as this one, but "down under" the belly. (I don't have access to the link you posted).

I would eliminate the DB-killer :) I did it on my Xsr 900 Abarth it is a world of difference !

Hey man, did you ever try to or know how to remove the db killer? I have the same bike and the same hijg mount as yours. But I want it be louder, it is really quite.

I didn't try it (I think it's ok like this) but I know it's possible (the dealer that installed it asked me if he should remove it).

Professor cbX I prefer this one, and of course the video doesn't do justice to the actual sound. I don't know the weight saving but it's substantial, the Yamaha breadbox is pretty heavy (and now gone).
