The Sound Of NASCAR 🔈

First of all, I would like to thank all my subscribers for getting me to 500 subs, I didn't expect to get 500 at all, so thanks for all the support.
This is a video that I've been doing since june last year, and now I've finally finished it. It took me so long because I had to go through all 2013/14/15 and 16 races as I wanted as many good clips of pure sound I could find of just pure sound from the cars with no commentators, and with good cameras. I'm pleased that this video has turned out the way it has too, so sit back, watch and enjoy this video of pure nascar sounds of speed.

I am from Europe I don't know much about NASCAR could you tell me what kind of engine they use???

@@fernandollorente1485 they use 90° pushrod v8's with 5.8L of displacement, and use carburetors. Usually run at about 850hp flat out, rev close to 10k RPMs. They have to be rebuilt after a couple races because they run them so hard for so long. On superspeedway tracks, like Talladega and Daytona, they use restrictor plates to limit the airflow to the engine, limiting its horsepower output so that racing of those tracks is safer, because you can literally hold the pedal down the entirety of the track, and that makes the cars dangerously fast to race with. This year however, they used a more aggressive aero package that increases downforce to the wheels so that theres more drag so the cars can run without restrictor plates.

Pushrod v8s only, rear wheel drive only, carburetors only, nearly identical body designs, identical frames and chassis, identical tires, the list goes on. NASCAR is structured so that nobody has an unfair advantage over the competition, so really each race is like a lottery, there is a huge skill curve and usually the best drivers with the best tuned cars take the win. Nascar may look like a bunch of cars just going in circles, but those cars are super heavy and take a lot of skill to drive properly and well enough to consistently win races.

To this day, stock cars are still some of the best sounding race cars out there.

Its always amazing to see the speed and hear the sound on the tv, knowing that they're doing this in 3500 pound "stock" style cars and understanding how difficult that would be, then you go to a race and see the racing in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. Tv doesn't show you the back end of the cars swinging around as they enter the corner, it doesnt show you how when they come off the corner towards the wall, the back end is swing out towards it, and they run the grove as close to that outside wall as they can when on exit..... Then, how they kick inside just a tad down the straight aways, and right before they get to the entrance of the next corner, they kick towards the wall at the last second, then snatch the wheel left to get the back end kicked out again right before they dive into the corner, its the most subtle and short move that they can do, and sometimes at dover, the camera can sort of catch the car movement and ahow it doing this, but when you go live, its plain as day. And seeing them literally ride on the edge of keeping the back of the car from fully coming around is the most impressive display of physical abilities i think anyone can come to understand. I've never seen anything like it. There are a lot of racing series and alot of cars, and there are alot of cars that can go way faster than these cars in terms of design. But man, taking something THIS heavy, with a TON of power, with less surface area contact in these tires then most others series makes me think that some of the Best Drivers in the world, race stock cars for a living.

yeah I noticed that too, lol, if your using an apple device the best way to fix that from auto correcting is go into settings>general>keyboard>text replacement and add a new one , phrase nascar and make the shortcut be nascar and save it

thanks man and ikr aha, I was surprised that more than 200 separate videos made it 20 mins long. aha well it took about 6 month for me to go through all the 2013/14/15/16 races and finding out the best parts to use. Glad you enjoyed too
