I was still in doubt if this is the Kadazan version as in Sabah, Malaysia. Seeing some comment here, I'm rest assured. I have the feeling of learning the language but sources are limited. One question if someone could answer, is Kadazan language grammar structure more similar to of Tagalog (V-S-O) than to Malay/Indonesian? Thank in advance.
@elley133 жыл бұрын
Kadazan or Dusun tangaara is basically a sub-ethnic of Dusun peoples. Dusun have many sub-ethnics. Each sub-ethnics have differences but more similarities in their languages and cultures and they can understand each other.
@drakl0r3 жыл бұрын
Yup, Dusun and Kadazan language generally follows the VSO structure. They are almost similar and with some adjustments could be mutually intelligible with each other.

Fun fact: There are no e letter in kadazan language
@netsong22394 жыл бұрын
This is just me, but I strongly affiliate the letter and sound E (not the english "ee" that's basically "i") with green colour. That gives this language a really unique feel as does Arabic since green is such a powerful and dominating colour. Missing it is a big deal for me.

@EyeZackZin the grammar are somewhat similar if comparing kadazan to tagalog. Altho a few differences here and there but both have VSO sentence structure and highly agglutinative just different usage of affixes and lots of false friends
