We took that up a notch for our contestants in this episode.
In our Soupa Love challenge, each contestant has to know their competitors well enough, in order too even get this challenge started. In the end, only their skills will speak for them.

Akah is a very good judge, unlike some of the previous guest judges that just go with whatever chef t or ope says. Akah actually didn’t just follow their mouth, he judged based on his own perspective which is really good. The judges don’t necessarily have to have the same opinion and I feel like that’s what the others have been doing, even if they enjoyed the food, they will say they don’t enjoy it just because chef t and ope said they don’t.

I think the judges feedback on Tosin's food is bore out of her overconfidence She shouldn't be asking Eni for feedback Yes, be confident but be cautious as well Edited*** Also, food is meant to make us happy and satisfied. Bcos it's just "simple ewedu and stew" does make it less a food. It is meant to give a long lasting satisfaction and desire for more We all have various street food vendors we don't patronize just bcos the food doesn't "bang". It doesn't mean that the food is not good, it's not just giving you the satisfaction you need. Just like Chef T and Ope said the food is "okay" but they were not wowed Questions like - what is your secret recipe would have been asked if the food was exceptional

I will speak on the Achara soup as a proud Umuahia babe. First of all Abia is God’s own State not God’s own heart. The food looks good. The oil done(in pidgin). Achara and akpurukpu Egusi (Egusi balls) is missing. I understand that it wasn’t available. She did well.

Watch movies, watch reality shows, watch culinary shows too and see. And yes, even “in the abroad,” chefs call their customers “ma’am” or “sir”

I think overconfidence might do Tosin in and that's what the judges are trying to save her from. It's good to be confident of your abilities but there should be maintenance of a proper balance. I was surprised to see her in the bottom 4 but i guess some dishes and platings were better than hers. Kudos to all of the chefs.

@chefT they are oil to groundnut soup in the North. If you are asking them to make a dish that is peculiar to a region, it must not be made the way you want it, especially the preping. Even people in that region don't prepare it the same way. It may be consistent with but not necessarily the same. The last episode and this were really good. However, if they are cooking naija food, maybe 45 minutes. That is why the Banga separated, I believe, and the meat not being properly cooked.

There’s actually a soup called coco yam soup but different people cook it with different leaf, some cook with bitter leaf, other tribe cook with Uha and uzizi leaf while my husband side which is mbaise cook with ukazi and uha and the don’t use the normal soup coco yam the use the red coco yam
