This was such an emotionally charged family movie with many moving parts! But I’m so Glad this amazing boyfriend coached and assisted Majid clueless ex-wife how to leverage skeletons uncovered in her ex-husband’s closet in order to gain the upper hand in the custody battle of her beloved daughter with her gangsta ex-husband Tunde. Good always prevail against evil!

The casting for the mother and daughter roles is spot-on-they could easily pass for real-life family! Fola’s performance was phenomenal, bringing depth and authenticity to his character. The on-screen chemistry between Fola and Sonia was so intense, you could literally cut it with a knife. And of course, the legendary Majid Michel delivers yet another stellar performance- an all-time fav. Omoni, you brought a fresh spark to Nollywood with this film. How can you, the ex... be happy after leaving them, the almighty male specie, that's unacceptable, impossible, especially if you were once their wife & now a left over divorcee, who has a child for them, that makes it even more unacceptable for you to let another man into your life, you have to remain single forever while you watch them find happiness with another woman, why you may ask? Because you were once theirs & forever should be even if they cheated on you.... Chai, some men are delusional like Majid in this movie, the fact that he came to find trouble with her the moment he got wind of her moving on says alot about his character, & they are many like him in real life😩. And far from offering fulfilment and eternal bliss, marriage, it seemed, could be nothing but a battleground, a 'wedded lie'. I enjoyed every bit of it.
