Today I went on a weird wacky train service in the capital of London. The line I visited was the Southern route from East Croydon to Watford Junction (in Hertfordshire) meaning that this “southern train” actually goes north of the boundary of London making me question why Southern operates it 🤔
This line started out after privatisation where Virgin Trains ran a intercity service from the North down via Kensington and down to Brighton this was then passed down to Cross Country where they ran the same service, until then Southern took the route from East Croydon to Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes, until recently it was cut short to Watford Junction

Hope you have a nice day and bye ✌️
