I thought that IF you do GOOD THINGS you GO to HEAVEN... I was (mis)diagnosed with not only SAD and Anxiety disorder but Chemical-imbalance which has been formerly known as alcoholism/drug addiction, I fell into the trap of accepting the "fact" that I'm going to die a heroin addict and an alcoholic, tossed my career, all my possessions, marriage, relationship with my loved ones, down the drain to become a career "street pharmacist". I traded my brother's and sisters marriages, my grandparents funerals, quality time with my close friends and loved ones for a circular-life fueled by addiction, violence, pain, anger, withdrawal and blaming others for the mistakes I made. Meanwhile God was patiently waiting and protecting me... Although it took me well over 10 years, I gave up the self-reliant lifestyle to our Lord Jesus Christ and my dad at least got to see his son come home before he passed from a heart-attack in my hands on the bathroom floor. Although I really, really miss him, I can't wait to join him in praising God for everything good He has done in my life...

Its hard to pin these godly men down to single house of the Lord. Preachers and pastors of this caliber with a genuine love and faith of God, for his glory and the sharing of truth are soo badly needed they are always in-motion. Thats the one good thing about the modern internet is you can find a quiet place anytime and anywhere and fill your spiritual hunger and give praise where you are. Bless!

Yeah. I’m in a similar boat. The downside of using the internet is the lack of community physically built. That’s the part I struggle with. Finding other great men to surround myself with and learn / be guided by.

My brother Paul has never seemed the same since that heart attack. Maybe I’m wrong but I watch a lot of his sermons and he seems more frail and it breaks my heart. Thankfully the Lord is in control 🙏 Love this brother. One of the few I listen to. He is of a rare breed , diamond in the dust type of man of God. Grateful for his ministry which has marked me for life

Hey, just wanted to share the Gospel that all men need, the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) this means we all deserve death and separation from a perfect and holy God. But God did not leave us for dead, He sent His only begotten Son to die in yours and my place, so that anyone who believes in Him and repents of sin will be saved from separation from God, and have eternal life! I urge you please put your faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him, He promises to save all who cry out to Him and have a humble heart. We arent guaranteed another day so we must seek Him today while He may be found.

And if you spent 5 minutes talking with him all of those statements you just made would make you feel so arrogant and so wrong..... You have absolutely misjudged this man..... And the fact that he writes books and makes money for those books and then turn around and put that money back into missions..... His exotic wife is the one and only woman he has ever married and she is the mother to his children and if you ever met her you would feel like a pig calling her that and you would be embarrassed....... Nobody made you go to the military my friend and you need to quit making people people around you pay for it..... No one forced you to go..... You're going to have to come to terms with God on God's terms whether you like it or not otherwise you're going to spend eternity separated from him so why don't you listen up and quit complaining about your life....maybe God will have mercy on you a sinner like he did me and your life will change.....
