@@zohaibtariq7351 just a matter of design concessions. Almost every other country invested heavily in cannons so they’d have time to perfect and train all recruits on their weapon systems. US kept their Brownings in service all the way up til they got the colt which then got replaced with the Vulcan way later on

Sometimes the ai planes do shoot. Onetime I was flying on a huge map and an ai f 86 rolled up on my 6 and shit me down. I didn’t think they could shoot people so I wasn’t paying attention to it. Truly a gaijin moment

My grandfather was a mechanic on military airfield, and he had to work with more than 100 IL-28's, even flew few times with the back gunner... without parachute... and he was sitting on the escape trapdoor

Hey Phly, the confusion over the armament of the Il-28 is because it has two 23mm guns in the turret but it also has two 23mm guns in the nose firing forward. The GSh-23 used in the gun pods are twin barrel guns and are different from the single barrel guns in the nose and turret mount.
