I was 21 when they produced this great Film, I`m now 76 and its still a pleasure to watch it once again.

I remember taping this off Channel 4, Sunday 24th February 1991. It was shown again in 1992 and '93 but it looks like it vanished down the pan after that, so cheers for this!

charming film evoking a pace of life generally no longer lived and it is most enjoyable to watch someone who takes such care in his work. wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed this.

I have always loved this film! We also have the book, which makes excellent reading while seated on the Throne!

Mr Micklewright, you sir, are a hero! The book and the film hold a special place in the hearts of a generation of Civil Engineers. I've tried to explain it to colleagues but could never track down the film Thank you!
