Just watched the whole session tonight on Sky Arts Freeview channel. brilliant! I'm so happy I.got to see The Specials play with The Selector i when I was still living in Brighton..amazing!! The anti racist / inclusive message these guys have in their music was like fresh air in Brighton vile dystopian. late 70' s UK.. Ghost Town is one of the most powerful protest songs ever written ..I'm 56yr old Scouser & unashamedly far far left my entire life ,been an activist since the age of 13 ..I remember being at the women's peace camp at Greenham Common studying for my O' levels in a tent dancing like a nutter to two tone music Right the power! Remembering Terry Hall with 💘🌈✊xx
