Kobe went thru a freaking gauntlet to win those back to back titles,The Big 3 Celtics twice in the Finals,young OKC core, Spurs core, Physical battle with Artest and Battier in Houston, and these Nuggets, Phoenix Suns and their core dude literally had arguably the toughest path not to just winning one but winning multiple ones!!

The play he talking about I remember vividly. He pushed Kobe but Kobe couldn't react because he had 6 tech and if he got a 7th he'd be suspended 1 game. A possession or 2 later they ran a set where Kobe yelled at Pau to set a screen on on Jones. When Pau set the screen Kobe caught the lob for an and 1 oop. Jones was pissed because Birdman didn't rotate to cover the lob since his man (Pau) set the screen on Jones. That was also the infamous game 3 where Kobe pulled up over JR Smith and hit the 3 and debuted the Snarl face

They Got Chauncey, Melo, K mart, Camby, Birdman, Nene. Those are not just all stars and formers all stars. Kmart, Chauncey and Camby got NBA finals experienced. One of the things many people see now is that Kobe was always one of the smartest players in the league. Some players thought that Bron had a better IQ than Kobe because Bron has more triple doubles, but Kobe's IQ was underrated.
@jordanjenkins1671
@jordanjenkins1671 3 ай бұрын
His IQ shows in how he studied the greats from his high school days all the way through his NBA career. Studied all their moves, would ask them directly why they did something a certain way just to absorb their knowledge, trained with some of them to add to his bag, etc. There are multiple videos of Kobe breaking down NBA plays, teaching how to read offenses and defenses, etc. It's no wonder so many of today's stars went to Kobe to improve their game.

Whenever i expected one team to win because they were up most of the game, the other team would tie it send it to ot or win with some last minute clutch baskets. It was super intense a bunch of tough shot making, talking contested shots with contact still going in, tough layups, poster dunks. Raja Bell, Ron Artest, Danthay Jones these players carved out a reputation defending Kobe which prolonged their career. (Artest was a Stud but still benefit from prolonging his career). Dillion Brooks trying to do that too while simultaneously hoping to be a tiny part in a documentary. Hate them or love them, they know what they're doing. ----- Also I'm guessing Kobe passed more when Jones was guarding is because he know Jones is more than NBA standards of dirty, Karl probably told him to injure Kobe if the opportunity presents itself. & The "smart AF" "IQ" comments on Kobe going easy on the 12 minutes Jones was on the floor always makes me laugh If any current day player were to say/do that, they're the same players that will type "That's why this era/league is soft AF! The late great Mamba would go hard whenever he's on the court!" Next level glaze🍬 Also this Denver is playing that "80s/90s hard nosed defense" credit to Karl AKA we got 0 defensive skills so we rough you out. We don't got the talent to match you so we gonna play dirty.

I love how Denver guys do still act liek they ever had a prayer against Kobe's Lakers. Yall remember, this man said George karl was NEVER going to win a playoff series against him for what he did to him as a young player, and Kobe stood on that business.

On god if a coach tell me he don’t wanna play me in the fourth quarter just because of the school I went to??Oh yeah he’s gonna have a problem on his hands fasho. Plus I’m letting all the league media know damn near every game🤷🏾‍♂️😮‍💨

It wasn't just because of the school. It was because the player was a complete turd overall.

Watching the game on tv, you would think he was a dirty player when he’s not. It’s so crazy to see how detailed a team gameplan is for certain players. This proves why we shouldn’t jump to conclusions on why a player is doing certain things. A lot of times, it’s a reason.

Hey buddy, if one 7 minute clip changes your opinion about a player who's demonstrated dirty tactics over his entire career, you might be a little easy to manipulate! Have a nice day 😀
