It's sad that the uppercut gets all these nerfs. The gun itself is fine and not op at all in my opinion, the only op thing about it is that you can stack long ammo for rifles and have a sidearm that is not a sparks pistol. That's it.

This is the problem with weapons that are too similar to each other and overlap with use cases. Not only do you have this issue you now also have the 1865 carbine and Springfield issue cause with fast fingers what's the point of the 65 carbine? 3 extra bullets?

I feel like some weapons have been "relocated" to be on free hunters. I think it quite smart to have it like that until something comes around and changes it. Fast fingers haa sure brought a bunch of weapon to a higher standard. If a trait similar to berserker was made that was optainable via lobby we might see axes, Hammers, machetes bats and Sabers more often.

@rubyrhodhooligan859 the only thing the slate had going for it was faster firerate and more convenient reload with one extra bullet. They removed the former advantage, now the specter is just a slate with tighter spread and more damage and ammo options. If you have bullet grubber, you are literally only missing out on one bullet capacity.

@@GamingZ_enith nah, reloading one shell into an empty specter takes like twice as long as slate, good luck with that when you are being pushed. staying ads after firing a slug shot on specter blocks the entire middle of your screen. they have different pros and cons. what is the solution? nerf specter so its "outclassed" again? buff slate so specter is "outclassed again"? there are many pointless weapons in the game if you are going to ignore the things that make them different. why does winfield infantry need to exist when winfield swift exists? why does berthier need to exist when mosin exists? why does throwing axe need to exist when throwing knife exists? why does dynamite bundle need to exist when frag bomb exists? ignoring the niche differences between things in the game will mean there's no reason for half of the entire arsenal to exist. bringing everything into line exactly with each other leaves you with like 3 weapons left at the end and the game would suck. saying "yeah, i appreciate you just told me a difference between the weapons, but im gonna ignore those differences and that makes them the same/one better" is not a clever way to think.

@burgersquinn did you reply to the wrong person? You agreed with me on almost every way. The specter wasn't outclassed, it was right in its lane for its price compared to the specter. The "niche" tradeoff the slate had to make up for the noticeably less range was the faster firerate (which is now gone) and the more convenient reload. Can you justify taking the reload and extra bullet for an extra 200 HDs while losing out on everything else?
