I haven't seen this production as I live in the UK but the actions of the singers look to me more like weaving than spinning. Have I missed something?

I just saw it live two nights ago. The last performance for this season. Nice production. Excellent singers and the orchestra first class as usual. Staging very imaginative. Wagner can be very lyrical and smooth almost Mozartian at times and this early opera proves it.
