In January 2020 I travelled through India, visiting the ovals and maidans of Mumbai and the backstreets of Kolkata, enjoying local roadside matches on the way. I discovered a game out in the desert, met a team of cricketing Monks, played cricket with kids by a river and was clean bowled on the beach at Juhu! I met Sachin and Dravid and the blind and physically challenged cricketers who totally inspired me. Along catching up with the youngest and oldest cricketers, and the first girl's Cricket Academy.....and much more! I have chosen 220 photographs from the thousands I captured with my trusty Canon camera. I proudly share and celebrate this collection in a Limited Edition, 324 page large format book. It is a limited edition, and you can at my site- stevewaugh.com.au

They are shrewd, sledge and play mind games which is part of any game, you can see this in any sport, doing good for their team and not entitled to play the way opposition wants. What you are saying it all started from Steve Waugh era itself.

Open letter to Mr. Waugh To respected Steve waugh . Hope you are having a great time in life. I am a Indian and as all Indian i love cricket and we love aussi crickters a lot. I know you do charity and yes there are a lot of people who r below the povery in my country and we r in the middle of fixing it . I realyhave a problem with your clips. you only show povery , and indians living in so called your land (which I mean forcefully taken from abrognies and converted a british land) Dont make make them fell bad all the time . you might have seen the rasist slurrs on chanel 7 news if you havent please check it about India (cricket postings on fb of chanel 7) . Your these videos give your Aussi (in realtiy british ) people a chance to think look they r poor . which is not 100% of the story yes there are poor but there are lots and lots of middle class way more than your country's total population and with all the povery we still aim to go to moon . We have indians running companies like google. If you really wanna help poor i dare you to help your native people whom your forefathers have distroyed . Thus make a documentry how British distroyed Abrognies . I hope you accept this challange

Goosebumps!! I remember we used to play cricket in childhood by a ball made out of a used sock and cotton waste as my father was a tailor. We were so creative with it that we used to make seam of the ball with cuff of the sock.

My father interestingly never saw a cricket ball until college. In the villages where he was from (Telangana), they didn’t have those around. But they had Gilli-danda, which is where you use a thin stick and a piece of wood and try to rise it and hit it far.

Thanks for this wonderful video Steve. Thanks for showing the various glimpses of the Cricket craze in my country India through your lenses. I am a huge fan of your batting and I felt that you should have captained the mighty & invincible Australian Cricket team that won the 2003 World Cup. I consider the Australian selectors ungrateful in this regard.
