Indonesia, unity in diversity 🇮🇩. From this music video Alffy Rev show another different culture, different landscape, different language and different tribe from Papua province, Indonesia. This music video use 2 folks song from Papua, use Papua language as local language or dialect in there, also they use national language bahasa Indonesia or Indonesia language. When we are child we learn that 2 folks song in school, not only folks song from Papua, but also all province or region in Indonesia, because to introduce about the culture to the young generation.

Papuans usually look for shells along the coast in the areas of Biak, Yapen, Nabire, Wondama, to Waropen. Before being used as a musical instrument, at first the triton was used as a calling tool and a signifier 1:29 Tifa is a drum-like musical instrument originating from the Sentani Tribe community in Jayapura Regency, Papua. Historically, tifa was a tool that became a symbol of peace for the people of Papua in the past. In the past, if there was a war between tribes in Papua, the traditional elders would then beat the tifa as a call for representatives from both sides to make a peace agreement. However, now the use of tifa has turned into a musical instrument in various rituals and traditional arts such as: traditional parties, weddings, welcoming important guests, accompanying dances, and so on. Atowo is a kind of elliptical percussion instrument with a relatively small size and light weight. The atowo musical instrument is played with one hand holding the atowo body, while the other hand beats the atowo using a punch technique in order to produce a harmonious rhythm. In the tradition of the Papuan people, this musical instrument is commonly used in various arts and folk entertainment

Many people think that Papua is Papua New Guinea. The province of Papua is part of eastern Indonesia, whereas Papua New Guinea is not part of Indonesia. The lyrics of the whole song is in Papua language. The rap part using 3 languages: Indonesian, Papuan & English. Indonesia is the largest trilingual country in the world. They speak in: 1. Local language/mother tongue (based on their tribes). Indonesia has over 300 ethnic groups/tribes & 718 local languages. 2. Indonesian language/Bahasa Indonesia (national language). The only language for all Indonesian people to communicate/understand each other. 3. English. If you visit Indonesia, feel free to use English.
