My goodness this band is so good that is a very difficult song to play. All instruments ! that guitarist is off the hook. The drummer absolutely was killing it and that little singer my God kudos to her for getting up there doing that. God bless her she was great… and Getty Lee had some of the most intricate baselines ever so that bass player did incredible job

Then it's not the World that was the problem then. It was what's in your mind and how you viewed the world, and how you view it most often that matters. I don't have that view anymore..I shifted my awareness years ago. In 2020 the Virus is in the news and part of life and "(Black) Lives Matter"...but I don't give much focus to any of that because I'm not angry. I don't agree about what happened, but I'm in control of My Happiness Creation..not "Todays Events". Be careful, friend, many youth and Teens become Jaded when we become Adults. Don't do that! I'm very optimistic..but I used to not be. It's All Inside of You - you have control of you. "Though his mind is not for rent Don't put him down as arrogant His reserve - a quiet defense Riding out the day's events [put that in 2020 context if you want] The river [Chorus] What you say about his company Is what you say about society [Careful about what you say about people..] Catch the mist Catch the myth Catch the mystery Catch the drift [This song apply Daily..] [Bridge] The world is, the world is Love and life are deep [Individually, it is..] Maybe as his skies are wide Today's Tom Sawyer, he gets high on you And the space he invades, he gets by on you No, his mind is not for rent [Right On!!] To any god or government [Screw Christianity; mind control..] Always hopeful, yet discontent [Not into settling..] He knows changes aren't permanent But change is [So adored this when the song was first released and I still completely embrace it.]

Good Lord, man - I'm a professional level musician (working at home on the playback equipment instead by choice at 58 years old) with 5 awards from Billboard and a CD on the market. And all I'll say is that Geddy , Alex and Neil would give this performance ABSOLUTE 100% TOP NOTCH RATINGS and probably want to hear it again! Love how the singer goes down to the seventh on the end of "Salesmen" - very sassy and confident improvisation. Excellent duplication of parts and UNBELIEVABLE group execution considering equipment limitations and the "extremely live" setting (no post-production corrections whatsoever). Just freaking WOW! I don't mind you doggone kids outplaying me when you sound like THAT.

The guitar player is pretty good. It first I thought the intro riff was a recording being played
@JM_Solo4 жыл бұрын
Raylan Givens There are sections that are difficult (the intro, outro), but the majority of it is not a difficult drum piece. For a child who has been playing drums all of his life (as it appears most of these children have done) this was probably pretty tame for him. His propensity to rush (pun intended) ever so slightly indicates just that, for me. And the fluidity in his movements despite the tempo suggests he’s very capable already. Despite the over-analysis on my part, it was a very well-done performance from all of them. I would’ve liked to hear it done a tad slower so as to hear some more definition from the lead gtr runs and some of the drum fills, but again - these are kids! Bright futures, all.

My 6yo grandson has had a kit since he was 3. he is absolutely obsessed with YYZ. Never intended for it to be that way. He heard me listening to it, I showed him a video and he fell in love. I'm to a point that I'm almost sick of having to hear it. And yet I'm not. That's the real remarkable thing. At least I did one thing right as a grandpa.
