The overwhelming human tragedy in this is that a young daughter has lost her father, a wife has lost her husband, parents have lost their son and siblings have lost their brother. We grieve for our loss, but theirs is by far the greater. Neil Peart. What comes to mind? Integrity, honesty, loyalty, humility, compassion - all things that make a good human being. The talent was on loan from a higher power, but he had the spirit for that blessing to be bestowed upon him. Thank you Neil. Alex and Geddy, thank you for the opportunity you gave him to follow his passion. We are forever grateful.

It's AWESOME, he was a young Indian /Asian guy. I told him, the song and the band, he thanked me and said, he's checking them straight out when he gets home. Needless to say he had quite the impression on me and every body that I know especially if you knew how complex his style of playing really was . . .all you gotta do is get a drum set and some sticks sit down and just try to play like him I know that there are some very talented drummers out there that can probably duplicate him but there will never be another Neil Peart it's just not possible . . I did like the Guess Who and BTO, but their time (sadly) came & went; Loverboy were cool but kind of saccharine pop-rock; and while I like a number of Triumph songs, I agree that they weren't in Rush's league. Neil Young is very talented but not everyone's cup of tea. Early Bryan Adams is *great* stuff, but I hate how he sold out to writing almost solely drippy-sentimental ballads over the past 25 or so years. Having known quite a few Scandinavians, the ones I have known (Swedes and Finns mostly) would almost unanimously disagree... Hockey... They have all agreed that Scandinavians love Canadians. Partially because of the kinship of people who live that far north, but mostly... Hockey...

I was in the 3 row for this concert. A buddy and I drove up to Toronto from Denver, CO to see this show. Just crazy the number of people. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.

LOL, you actually drove from Denver to Toronto? What did it take you, like 2 weeks? Maybe you should write a book (a la Neil Peart) about your journey, must have been on crazy ride. I was at the show as well, my highlight was Rush and AC-DC. Definitely a lifetime event, I'll never forget that day. Maybe one day I'll return the favor and drive up to Red Rocks from Toronto... Cheers
