Wow, u nailed the tasting notes perfectly for me! I’m a huge Ardna fan and have never been so impressed by a new distillery from day one, so the positive comparisons I’ve been hearing to Raasay had me very eager. Much to my total amazement, I was able to source a bottle of R01.1 after moving from NYC to Scotch-unfriendly Brazil! I just cracked the bottle and tasted along with your review and think the old Victorian leather and book cigar room with cassis and granite is absolutely spot on, and once again make me wish I lived nearby.

Well worht a trip if you can get there - you can drive across from Skye so if you get the chance check out Talisker and Torabhaig too!

Hi Ben, I really like your whisky review and this review is excellent. Just had a small dram of the new Raasay whisky. It is fantastic. Really like it. Keeping doing excellent whisky reviews. You really need more people following you. Cheers and sainte mhath from Germany

I think the leather changes as you get down the bottle. It is there but not so predominant. The leather is newer(?)
