Faced with repeated droughts, Berlin is now focusing on what to do in order to save rainwater. Since 2018, new construction is required to ensure that buildings retain rainwater as opposed to letting it drain away. FRANCE 24's Nick Spicer reports.

Instead of just concrete and higher cost how about using berms, swales, Zuni bowls, one rock dams and rain barrels to slow, collect and distribute rainwater? Any movement on greywater use? Watershed Mgmt Group out of Tucson is a wealth of info.
