Me too, Spoony was great in his heyday, even now I come back to his videos and rewatch them almost every year. I think even today and after all these years, he could make a comeback with this kind of content, but his mental state is not easily overcome. It's a shame.

When watching this I couldn't help but marvel at how the "dyn-o-mite" guy from Good Times gave a more dignified performance than Burgess Meredith, despite playing a character whose few traits include "cannot get an erection due to being crippled." Such is the power of FMV.

That being said, I was a bit surprised with a possible joke, that was loooow hanging & missed?! Now, I'll admit. Around the Timecode above, our character is talking to the coma girl, in cyberspace. He asks her a about a D & D game, a bunch of them may have played, 15 years ago. Most of you, the ones still reading, have most likely guessed the joke already. So, rewind a bit, to the line about the D & D type game. THEN, have Spooney, in the woman's voice, say "Yes, it's true! But you don't get it, "Mazes & Monsters is a far out game!!". Or, "I killed him because he always 'wanted to be the Warlock." I understand my explaining, ruined the jokes but I just wanted to type out some thoughts, take some crazy pills and get back to the show. Thanks to anyone, who read to the end. Something I don't get about the game the Web Runners were playing. Why on earth would anyone want to get all decked out in VR gear just to play the murder victim in a game, I mean you would be dead in a couple of minutes so you would spend more time getting ready to play the game then you would playing it, who would do that?

3:14:30 Du Champs. I'm amazed but our lead pronounced that perfectly! I'm guessing our lead may be Eastern Canadian! Which is fun for us because it doesn't happen often. Zombie Nightmare which was riffed by MST3K, was filmed on Montreal's West Island and down the street from my college and favorite Ice-Cream shop! Wow! That was the most disappointing end to a game, since Ghostbusters for the NES (and dozens of other consoles). Like they couldn't even film alternate endings, with the other actors? Had they all gone home, then they decided on alternate endings! They were just lucky Scott Cohen was picking up his paycheck thay day ;) I love the clue ending but you need to watch his 'Phantasmagoria 2' playthrough, to get the great stuff. I'm not saying Spooney wasn't on his game because he was but Ripper has such a great cast (for a videogame) that it's tough not to enjoy it. It's similar to when MST3K has a movie, with a big name, they tend on concentrating their best jokes on him, or her. See Joe Estevez, Joe Don Baker or John Carradine Riffed films, for more examples. But I would take Curtis Craig, over Jake Quinlan anyday. It's like playing as Lester the unlikely, (I take that back but you get what I mean. An unknown Nerd) and when the first puzzle, is finding your wallet, that your pet rat Blob hid somewhere, you know your in for an odd game!! Imho Phantasmagoria 2 is my favorite longplay! It's a Riffer's paradise! Or maybe Spoony makes it look easy. Either way, check it out, especially if you liked Ripper. Cheers from Canada

That's not true but isn't obvious from the clips spliced here - there are four potential variations to the game, but only one accusation is correct per playthrough (Claire is the killer in this playthrough), but I he guess got all the FMVs of all the other variations. In the Falconetti & Magnotta variations you won't see Haman at all and the game focuses more on the fake pictures that one or the other give you to frame the other (Magnotta still does that in this variation, but he does it much earlier when he is guilty). If it is Catherine you'll see Haman as directly involved (attacked you with a knife with his prints found on it) rather than just a bystander like here.
