For more info to new players when see this Sporechids and bunch of gems in the air. Usually people will make an air look and fill that area with tile to destroy all the air & liquid inside (including gems). And the zombie gems seem likes to be dead in others liquid except crude oil. Have fun ! :">

Klei is now adressing the issue with the disease clinic + serum vial not curing Zombie Spores. So shoutout to that! One of the rarest and most impactfull deseases in the game Problem is, the only way to get infected is by breathing it, and the only places it appears are in the oil biome and near the amber and petrified fossils (they come in packets of 3 under layers of abyssalite in the oil biome, usually 2 packs, and 1 near the fossils closed in an abysallite capsule as well) Also 2 seeds can be found in the biohazard cabinet in the biobot story trait The orchid is really usefull for making the morb drones, basically free basic work force (requires a little ammount of power from a gas pump, but does not require any breathable gas/food/power or atmo suits, making it ideal to work in the magma biome AND in the space biome (more usefull on the space biome due to the regolith)

oh yeah a question I just though of is there any convenient way to deal with the contaminated crude oil after taking care of the sporechild? I'm usually too lazy to make a chlorine room

Hi George Mann. I haven't had time to check yet. Other than Chlorine the spores die very slow (3%) in other gases. But die at around 27% in other liquids. Not sure if there is a trick that kills them quickly. Have to test it, sadly got a lot to do the last two weeks. So i am behind shedule.

You could use a ore scrubber and a pitcher pump, the ore scrubber can delete germs from bottles of liquid!

are you required to make anything for the disease clinic in the spaced out version? the last time i built the disease clinic, and apothecary, the syringe never showed up. only in the base game did i get the request.

Hi commonsense 200. The last time i checked it said advanced medical supply (which does not exist) there is medical supply and then the serum vial (which is advanced but the text is not as exact as it should be). Then there was the bug that zombie spore could not be fixed because Klei accidentally made the serum vial cure Slime Lung instead. I need to retest that since Klei said that they will fix the bug, but i haven't looked into that again.

How do you block the spread from sporechid? I want to completely avoid using that plant and yet I need to kill all the bacteria

The easiest way would be digging up the tile underneath from a safe corner. then just wait for them to die off naturallly

Not that I know of but that would be amazing. I think so far only the crops have mutated versions. The decor plants don't. But i am not sure on that regard.

According to the wiki and past posts you could treat zombie spores that way (at the moment not). Same as the petroleum generator doesn't tell you you can use ethanol too. Also: who ranches sun nymphsand produces steel just to cure slimelung. Come on Devs :D

No it only slows them down heavily. Which can lead to them not getting food quickly enough. so better keep them in a hospital where they get their food.

Hi Mohammad. Good question. I don't know if duplucants can cure themselves of zombie spores because they need a doctor to inject them the serum vial.
