My mind is blown every time I think about how they did this and got it down exactly right. To get such a massive structure at the right angle and all the calculations correct that involve the sun is truly amazing. Like I said, mind blown.

Was fortunate to witness this first hand awhile back, by accident even! We planned a trip to Cancun in mid to late March, and when we got there this was all that was talked about, so we decided to go! It was amazing!! We even went back the following day bcuz of the crowd during the Equinox! Definitely planning on going again!!

Thats so cool! Us Hopi's in Arizona also have a feathered serpent we call him Palalang'qataka. We believe he lives underground in the underground waters & that he helps keep the world in balance. We also believe he comes to visit our Hopi villages' natural springs around midday to check on us to make sure we're still living with kyaftsi (respect). They tell us not to be around the springs around that time because he can an will take you with him. I love how we have similarities but are in different countries. I know our ancestors used to trade with the people in the south. At some Ancestral Puebloan ruins (Chaco Canyon) they have the ball games like the people of the south. We have a Parrot clan that migrated to the Hopi villages from South America.

There is a snake head on the bottom left. The shadow makes it seem like is going down the stairs. You're not going to see a real giant snake actually coming down 🤣🤦‍♂️. You have to see it with an opened mind. It impressive and accurate af if you ask me.

No you are correct. This effect was the product of the chichen itza reconstruction and it was an accidental one. The Mexican government rebuilt many of the sites with tourism in mind.

I’d check it out in person, or like many of us you could just do some research on it yourself. No offense but I’m a bit spread thin and tired of giving both the answers and the evidence. Try DUCKDUCKGO as google’s AdWords have changed the way algorithms and search engines allow for research to (not fully) work.

Yeah it's said that the snake is going down the steps, but instead, it seems like it's getting bigger or thinner depending if we look at the shadow or the light, and it's not even on the steps, that's disappointing

What is the evidence that this is a intentional ancient special effect and not just pareidolia mixed with a serendipitous coincidence caused by the stair step corner of the pyramid casting a shadow on the side of the main stair corridor. No doubt the architecture is amazing and the culture was amazing but I'm not going to lie, when I first heard about this phenomenon, I was expecting something more obvious.
@sid300e

It isn’t an intentional effect. It was part of the reconstruction of the temple. Look at old pics of the temple it looked nothing like this

So where's the snake?? 🤭..🤣😂 And I thought i was trippin 🤣 Either i am blind or everyone that sees a snake is on some good smoke and need to pass that this way 😅.... But no guys i saw no snake. Just a shadow that can barely count as even moving just a shadow taking effect, yes it would take someone about a year to study this and make calculations based off decades of research to give you exact dates but this is all doable.

YOU ARE CHILD OF THIS AGE FOR SURE... you expect movie like effects ??? the snake is an illusion created BY INGENIOUS MASTERFUL ENGINEERING AND SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF THE EQUINOX , THE STARS MOON AND SUN AND NAUTRE ! THE SNAKE IS NOT THE SHADOW , THE SNAKE IS SUNLIGHT EDGED BY THE SHADOW MOVING SLOWING AS THE EQUINOX PROGRESSES, ITS GOING DOWNWARD AND IS NOT AS SHARPLY DEFINED AS IT MUST HAVE BEEN CENTURIES PAST WHEN IT WAS NEWLY CREATED AND THE EDGES OF THE STEPS WERE SHARP AND DEFINED NOT ROUNDED AND WORN OUT BY THE CENTURIES... OPEN YOUR MIND AND LEAVE OUT RIDICULOUS EXPECTATIONS OF MOVIE LIKE EFFECTS..

Sad you have to attribute great human accomplishments to aliens. There’s literally nothing suggesting that in the record. I’d be more willing to consider the idea of a lost reasonably high tech civilization…there’s some evidence for that but even that is probably just the tools, intelligence and more importantly, time, of many organized people. It’s less exciting but that these structures were made by man is not in doubt.
