Before the video I hadn't considered that the Spurs' number 1 overall draft picks have all been bigs even though I of course realized that David Robinson, Tim Duncan and Victor Wembanyama are all bigs. In Victor the Spurs have basically a shooting guard, small forward, power forward, a center and maybe also a point guard in a 7'4" body. I expect opposing teams' defenses to try to keep the ball out of Victor's hands.

They should try to trade for the 11th or 10th pick or in the range for Bilal Coulibaly (SF), Wemby's teammate w/ Team France and the Metropolitans. Try to keep Keldon, and use all the picks instead. Sign Austin Reeves to a long term deal. Pick up Kai Sotto as a undrafted free agent, stash him in the G league, also try to hold on to Champagnie and Barlow too. Try to resign Tre Jones n' Mamu and extend Devin Vassell. Keep McDermott for the time being and maybe Trade him down the stretch w/ Collins and Graham and some picks, maybe Bassey too for DeAndre Ayton or Porzingis or something like that... FR!! Play Wemby at the 4.. (a very big 4 lol) If they do something like this.. Spurs will be a playoff team immediately and for a very long time too. Go Spurs!!

Isn’t Wembanyama regarded as a bigger talent than was Duncan pre entering the NBA? No one is claiming he’d actually be better than Duncan long term - but Wemby got the potential to not only be a franchise altering player, but a league altering as well.
