The Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark II in G10 *a must buy*

I bought the ml over the delica because of the forward finger choil and it's awesome. Great to choke up on for detailed cutting. Got it for a song too and never a problem with it. I don't like buying expensive pocket knives because then I never use them for fear of losing or breaking. The only thing I noticed is that the thumb hole had a pretty sharp finish from the factory but a small round file and a few minutes solved the problem. This is often the cut corners you get with cheaper knives though.

Byrd really surprised me. The Lightweight models are all between $35-$40 now but I still think worth it for most. If you need a really heavy duty working knife? That's where the G10 versions are fantastic. Robin, Meadowlark and the Cara Cara 2 Are great knives. The Byrd Raven 2 is also a great knife.. like a refined Tenacious with BD1 steel from Carpenter, really durable stuff. Great review!

I've been looking at a couple different delicas lately, but haven't wanted to spend that kind of money. I can't believe the price difference on the byrd! Looks like a really good edc option. Thanks for showing this one, buddy.
