No I haven't heard of that being used. Only prepaid cards are used as payment

hi, great video !!! very in depth. For mine it says they can't verify my identity when i'm trying to accept credit card. do you have any idea why that it? It asked for all my personal info and said it was wrong when it isn't.

Did square verify your email and maybe a deposit they sent to your account with square that you had to answer back to with the amount square deposited?

Also you have to do certain things and chasms some settings on a computer and not a phone

What's the reader for and how do you use it? It seems like all the transactions are online payments. What if someone is paying me in person and they wanna SWIPE their card?

The square readers are for payments in person. The customer can pay either with the swipe device that plugs into the headphones jacket on your phone. Or you can get the reader with the chip card reader which is more secure. Chip readers also take wireless cards just by the customer tapping the reader. Both readers also send the customer receipts with their phone number or email.

Thank you for the tutorial video. At least I now know it works connecting with android phone and charge customers money. May I ask questions here? (1) I am not sure - can I only buy a square card reader connecting with my laptop instead of the android phone? It is also ok to work with android phone but it's got a smaller screen tho. (2) Do I need to create chargeable items for charging customers? (3) How can I know the customers' email address and mobile number? Appreciate for your generous sharing of square tutorial! Very nice tutorial, thank you, thank you, thank you 😘 I have a couple o questions or more 🍻. 1- At sale pont when keying the dollar amount. If you make a mistake how do you refund the customer. By calling the company or you can do it at that time and how much does it cost you to undo the mistake. 2- Also what if they give you a credit card that is not legit? Does it allow you to process the card o it will give you a warning? I would really appreciate it if you could answer. Be well!

1. Just click on the invoice or transaction that happened and it will let you issue the refund to the point of up to the amount that was charged. It doesn't charge a fee to refund a customer

2. It will not allow credit cards that do not have funds to take a payment. It will give you an error message on an in person payment and if you send an email invoice it will not letter pay.

For payment only and direct deposits. You need an actual banking account to set up square

What we need to know is how to do manual entry. Many cards have defective magnetic strips and require manual entry. There is no easy access to manual entry on Square. How do we manually enter a credit card number during a sale?

You’ll purchase the lightning connector one that connects to the newer phones. It looks the same as the new iPhone charger

Zuri is correct. Aux connectors are great for older phones or just purchase the square chip reader. Most cars have chips now

Somehow I took credit and debit card payment options off and it doesn’t give me the option to put them back on the app I already have my chip reader

You're going to have to uninstall and reinstall on your phone. On your computer it should be easier to add them back. Hope that helps
