Dude, you are gonna love the Twang King bridge pickup. I bought a Squier partscaster with one already in it and it is the one thing I haven't changed on it over the years. Great for high gain tones. I play metal with the DiMarzio Twang King. Heaviest sounding single coil pickup I've ever played, or my name isn't Larry Di... er... never mind. Any Tele player that wants heavier tones should try one out.

Awesome, I’ll try it.

Just ordered the Aztec Gold one. Already getting a pickup set to swap out the stock ones. And replace the saddles with brass compensated ones. These guitars are made to modify and a big neck pickup route gives you endless possibilities for neck pickups. P90, Firebird, regular humbucker?

Robert, on your recommendation, I bought my first Strat type: a 2020 Squier Bullet Mustang. Like you, I have small arthritic hands, and the Squier was a nice first try. It was a good purchase. May I suggest my following acquisition to you as a potential test subject (if you have not already tested it yourself): a 2023 ESP Ltd EC 256? Indonesia built of course, not China. I hope you find as fine a piece as I have.

Thanks, I had an older ec-256. They are great guitars for sure.

I think I’m view 1000! Anyway I bought one of these. Right at this moment (when I’m not typing that is) I’m installing Monty’s something something Danish Pets Tele pickups. Nothing wrong with the classic vibe ones but … let’s see what I get out of pickups that are literally worth more than the guitar ha ha! Good video sir!!

You need to order the Fiesta Red Limited Edition if you want the maple fretboard. Order directly from Fender to get 20% off. (as of July 2024)

I'm thinking about getting one of these in Aztec gold but I want to get a partscaster conversion neck (I have small hands) do you know if it has a tele neck or a strat neck?
@robertsguitarsandgear4 ай бұрын
@@talentosa57 For Classic Vibes at least I think they are the same. It is a very comfortable neck for small hands.

is the neck pocket a telly pocket or Stratocaster? That’s the question.
@talentosa574 ай бұрын
@@ratbird3290 yes that's exactly what I meant, thank you!
@talentosa574 ай бұрын
@@robertsguitarsandgear as mentioned in another comment, what I actually meant was, what size is the neck pocket? Is it a strat neck pocket or a tele neck pocket?
@robertsguitarsandgear4 ай бұрын
@@ratbird3290 Thanks, best I can say is that looking at a CV Strat and the Nashville side by side the Neck joints look quite similar.
@deanmccaskill54957 ай бұрын
Wait a minute… they don’t come with a maple fingerboard do they? Do you work for the CIA or something?
@robertsguitarsandgear7 ай бұрын
It’s who you know for sure! In my case a Fender.com limited edition.
